Social Science - 16 October 2007

I have a 91 Volvo 740 Station Wagon... I call her "Big Red" or the "Shagin Wagon" -- When it died, I cried over it, and now I'm waiting to get it repaired... I took such good care of It - mechanically its good, but who would have known the electrical system would fail...

I'm 20 now, and I've had it since I was 17. I'm actually mourning for my car and I'm willing to pay anything to get it fixed... Is that normal?

I think there were actually two. The second was more clear. I came up from stairs and as I come to the surface (street?) the tiger growls very fiercely and bits itself into my arm where it kind of stays growling. Didn't hurt but was scary as hell, especially the sound. Unbelievable! I didn't know what to do. After a long half minute or so a kind of worker came and hit it on the nose like a naughty pet to get the angry thing off of me. Woke up. Felt shaken but also ok that I kept my cool. What was that?

i had a boyfriend for almost 2 years. his best friends girlfriend made up a big lie about me cheating on my boyfriend which was not true. i guess she was jealous. we didnt get along. well i dream that (it was more of a nightmare) she called me crying asking for forgiveness, apologizyng for all the damage she caused. i loved my boyfriend with all my heart and thatgosip really hurted both of us. i woke up and i just cried. i just want to know what it means when someone has a dream like this one

Okay last night I dreamt about this demon on a killing rampage... It was awful. But thats the second time in a week that I've dreamt something like that.

I also dream a lot of sex... Not dirty or gross, just plain sex... Why?

A friend moved into a neighborhood similar to the one I grew up in. They drive their kids between houses and watch their every mood while, when I was their age, I disappeared into the grove of woods behind the school regularly (but never by myself).

I remember meeting a guy with a Raccoon who I was not afraid of, but all my friends did not trust him (thank goodness for THAT) but other than finding a dirty mag and a firepit in the woods - we were trauma free.

What makes now different? Factually. I mean there have always been predators and bullies - what makes NOW so much worse that our kids stay indoors so much?

In that way I miss the 80's, man.

The first I was at work, and thought I was late for another appointment, came out to leave and my car was gone.

The second was I shopping and things had been stolen from inside my car!

This for me is exceptionally wierd as I never remember my dreams, but two in one week about stealing can't be just a coincidence can it?

I haven't seen this person for ages and I often have dreams that I am getting really near to him but wake up before I reach him.Then a couple of days ago I dreamt I actually was with him and then I saw him in the street in real life.

I don't remember every detail, but my family and I are at my Grandmother's house (she is deceased now) but she was in the dream as well, my aunt that is deceased was there, and my dad which has passed was there also. We were discussing my sister-in-law, who is also passed, being in the hospital and nothing more being able to be done for her...so she was gonna die. And my brother who is alive, was dying in the dream also. I felt so disturbed when I woke up. What could this mean?
