I was sitting down and felt my tooth loose! I poked it with my tongue and it fell out in my mouth! I then went to the mirror and looked, then realised the tooth next to it was loose too! I touched it and it fell into my hand! Then I woke up!

Common dream scenarios include having your teeth crumbling in your hands or your teeth falling out one by one with just a light tap.One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. Teeth are an important feature of our attractiveness and presentation to others. Everybody worries about how they appear to others. Caring about our appearance is natural and healthy.
Another rationalization for these falling teeth dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some specific situation.Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness.Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream is an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion.
A scriptural interpretation for bad or falling teeth indicate that you are putting your faith, trust, and beliefs in what man thinks rather than in the word of God. The bible says that God speaks once, yea twice in a dream or a vision in order to hide pride from us, to keep us back from the pit, to open our ears (spiritually) and to instruct and correct us.

I hope there is enough here for you to go on...good luck :)

It depends what else is going on in the dream, teeth falling out have multiple meanings, and you will get a better interpretation if you can post the entire dream, not just one symbol. It could be that you are reaching a new level of maturity, as we grow up, we lose our baby teeth, and get new grown up teeth. It could be that you are concerned about how you appear to others, a person's smile is a very important physical feature. It could mean that two people you know are going to die. It could mean any number of other things, but as you can see from the responses, there is a wide array of meanings associated with this symbol, it needs to be viewed in context of the whole dream........

This is a very common dream amongst people. What it actually means is.......ready. You are concerned about your oral care. You may feel that you are not brushing and/or flossing enough. Maybe you are concerned about a dental visit coming up.
It may also be a concern on how people see you. People inadvertently judge people on how their teeth look. "He has yellow teeth, he's no good. If he can't take care of his teeth, how can he take care of anything" Bad way to judge people, but it does happen.

Mostly in dream interpretations, the removal of teeth signifies a death of a love one or a close relative. In Philippines, once said that if you dreamt something like this you have to bite a spoon after you woke up. It is just a superstitious belief its up to you if you believe it or not.

Your brain does not sleep when you do. If you breathe with your mouth open, your mouth will get dry and not feel right to your brain, thus the reason for the dream.
It happens to me in the cold weather season.
