Is it true most of people comes on 'yahoo answers' are lonely people and many of them have low IQ?

This is almost an insulting question to some of us. But, to be fair, I'll answer it as best as possible, assuming it's in ernest.
I found Yahoo answers sheerly by accident. I keep coming because it takes so little effort and time, and it's interesting. The questions people ask are as varied as personalities and the answers range from fascinating to funny to informative.
Low IQ is also not necessarily true. I've found some very intelligent answers. Sure, some are not thought out, or are somewhat flip. But that can be found anywhere. I have only ever posted one question and the answers I received were very technical and not at all reflecting IQ.
My experience has found that there is no way to tell if someone is lonely by their question or answer. And IQ is relative. Street smarts, common sense, and experience are not reflected in IQ numbers. So there's no true way to tell if "many of them have low IQ."
Me personally? I am far from lonely and my IQ is extremely high.

Is it true most people comes to yahoo answers are lonely people? No necessarily. For my own case, loneliness is not the right word to use. Maybe unfulfilled or something. Because I believe people as they continue in life are still looking for answer either for their own or for the world he/she is living on. People never stop thinking. Even if we sleep our mind still keeps on working that well, doctors have enough proof of these.
Regarding IQ, maybe yes or maybe no. If they are low IQ I doubt this is the last frontier they will embarked on wouldn't you think? They will rather waste their time watching football games or smoke marijuana with friends back door or jerk off in some DVD sex movies or go to the honky tonk outlet in the city and get hookers, which is more fun than answering some boring questions from boring people wouldn't you think?

Not me. Not lonely at all, live with my boyfriend and our "zoo" haha. I go on here when I have free time and he is at work. If you look my answers you can see that I know quite a bit about the topics and have good grammar. I have a pretty high IQ as well.

many of the general population have low IQs - don't see why answers should be any different .and most people are lonely SOMETIME . nothing wrong with being lonely , or low IQs btw .

I'd have to say: No. Allot of them are probably bored people, a small few might be here just to massage their own egos and consider themselves intelligent but in general every ones here to help and learn something whilst they do so.
Ive only been here for a short while but found most people to be very helpful, there is however a few people who clearly just like to write inflammatory comments aimed at insulting the community.

Oops, my IQ is 135, I am 55, I am very active, not lonely at all. So, at least I don't fit your stereotype - by the way I am blonde if that helps!

I am not lonely and I have a high IQ. I like to come here to help people. However, I have noticed many people who fit your decsription. If you are just trying to get a rise out of people then it sounds to me like you are projecting your own problems onto us.

i don't know about the whole IQ thing, but i'm sure a good bit of people on yahoo answers are lonely and bored. my girlfriend and i lay in bed at night and answer questions because we are bored.
