Are these not the essence of today's generation ! Is it worth being so??

If fuel taxes are to reduce consumption by price rationing, fuel consumption should fall.
If it doesn't - it's not working.
That means it's just another goverment scam to gouge the tax payer for more money to throw away.
Nobody ever seems to ask if the strategy is actually working!

I have the biggest problem with these 2 sayings, I consider my self a pretty smart person but for the life of me I dont get either one of these comments,,how do we not live in the moment? is it even an option? if someone answers "be happy all the time" that's impossible,,,,or do some people pass away for a few moments im kidding of course & what is live each day to the fullest? should I be jumping out of planes etc,,,some days are just going to be good some days are just going to be a lazy stay in bed watching movies etc,,,,please some advice on these 2 subjects for me,,,,,,thank you

I recently asked a question about the boys (I call them that because even though they are almost adults, they clearly have the brain capacity of a 6 year old) in my physical education class. I often have issues with their lack of respect and the inappropriate references they make about their penis, sex life and girls I know and in general.

Many of the answers I receive were just 'boys will be boys'. When I spoke to my Mother about this, I got a similar response.

I don't understand how males can get away with being so disrespectful and they are able to use their gender as an excuse.

I know that some females use the 'headache' excuse or PMS, but these don't actually offend anyone.

So how come this is a valid excuse?

Its been 3 years that we have broken up with one of our relatives. and now its been 1 month that I ,almost every day, seen dreams about them especially about their daughter who is 2 years younger than me. frankly I really hate that girl because of her behaviour and... but I always see her dream. I dont know why, because I never think about her and her family...

I submited my applctn on wed to the store mngr. I let her know I was interested in building with the company as a career .She immed asked the other associate for her apt book and asked if I could come in today for an interview.I told her yes.She and anothr associate said my name was pretty and we had a friendly light convo about names etc.The store mnger said she looked fwrd to seeing me at 2 today.
Upon arriving in the stor for my interview(I arrived 15 min ) early,the store mngr greeted me right away by first name and said what a beautiful alfit I had on and that I looked really nice for the interview.I thanked her and she took me to the othe side of the store where the other mnger would interved me.The mnger that interviewed me smiled alot and asked me "how I felt about task for the positon"she also made refnce to her own expernces"towards the end of the intervw the store mnger came outside to the interview and listened in.They both :) & shook my hand and said they would "call me"

I am going to enter a drug rehab in ca. I am ashamed of myself but realize that I need help before my drug addiction becomes all-consuming. My mom who is in her eighty’s has Alzheimer’s and has had a lung problem for sometime. The drug rehab is six months and is out of the town that I live in. What keeps going around and around in my head is there is a great possibility she might die, while I am gone. I love her so deeply, and she still recognizes me on and off, and knows it is me when I stroke her hair. I wonder if I can live with myself, if something did happen to her, yet also know this might be the only time I will have to get help. I totally take responsibility for my addiction and could kick myself for being so selfish and making bad choices. I realize that i might be projecting too far into the future, but the reality of it, is not unrealistic or dumb. Does anyone have advice or know someone who has had the same situation or experienced this kind of heart ach

Lately, I've been sleeping longer hours only because my dreams keep "holding" me. I think it may be called lucid dreaming, because it feels so real to me that when I wake up I'm always so shocked that it was only a dream. Something else that I find weird is that I've been remembering my dreams clearly when I wake up. Usually people don't.

I had a dream yesterday that I was sitting in my room, watching TV, and suddenly to room started to shake, and I could see lights coming from everywhere. Then when I turn my head and look at the window, I see this UFO right in front of it, with the doors opened and all. The funny thing is, I could see the aliens inside, doing some sort of autopsy on a human, and they were unaware that I was watching in horror. Then when they realized I was watching, they gave me this face and then went away.

Why do alot of people have the fear that the boogie man or something of the sort is going to either chop or eat their toes off in the middle of the night if their blankets arnt covering them? iv heard of this happening to many people. Or if anything.. why do some people find it akward or uncomfortable and dont know why, almost leading it to fear of missing toes, but subconsciencely...

I recently went to a job interview. I had to walk block after block in the heat and I was sweating and breathing hard. I went in there thinking she would give me time to cool off. But she had me in straight away and said how nervous I was because I was breathing deeply. She mocked how I was going and made it sound really bad.

I did not realise I was breathing that hard but I am a big girl and it takes a lot of effort to walk that far in the heat for me.

She did not seem to realise or appreciate this and gave up on me as soon as I sat down. I was dressed nicely but still I was treated like this

my friend is 19 but she only dates men in their late 30's and 40's..and she's not a golddigger either..i asked her about it and she says she just likes older men..i think theres more to it because she has this fear of getting old..her dad left her mom for a much younger woman a few years ago..i guess her logic is to date an old guy so that when she gets old he'll be "too old" to leave her..i dont think she's going to be happy this way..i dont know what to do with her
