Lately, I've been sleeping longer hours only because my dreams keep "holding" me. I think it may be called lucid dreaming, because it feels so real to me that when I wake up I'm always so shocked that it was only a dream. Something else that I find weird is that I've been remembering my dreams clearly when I wake up. Usually people don't.
I had a dream yesterday that I was sitting in my room, watching TV, and suddenly to room started to shake, and I could see lights coming from everywhere. Then when I turn my head and look at the window, I see this UFO right in front of it, with the doors opened and all. The funny thing is, I could see the aliens inside, doing some sort of autopsy on a human, and they were unaware that I was watching in horror. Then when they realized I was watching, they gave me this face and then went away.

lol, it's cool if I got abducted, and scary at the same time. Who know what they'd do to me!

No, I don't watch sci-fi or anything that has to do with aliens before I sleep.

I am a writer. Maybe because I have an imaginative mind, it's acting up?

Wow, I'm really glad that I'm not the only one this has happened to. A few summers back, I had the most frighteningly lucid dream of an alien attack on my high school. Like in your dream...or nightmare....the ground started to shake as I was in some computer lounge or cafe (which I found out later actually exists near where I went to high school.....creepy, I know) when all the power died. The thunder and lightening were so powerful that the building I was in and the ground outside were actually shaking like an earthquake had just hit. Seemingly the only one actually reacting to all the commotion, I ran outside to witness these really ominous looking red comet-esk bodies flying through the air, and I automatically knew what I was dealing with- an alien invasion. Naturally, I had no idea what to do. (Who would?) Because I went to a Catholic high school, I thought somehow running to some sort of sanctuary (a.k.a. the school's chapel) would save me. As I was running down the street faster than I would ever estimate I could, I heard a blood-curdling scream. When I turned around I saw (and this image, I fear, I will never be able to erase from my memory) this man clutching his nearly non-existent hand in agony. What ever laser-like, evil alien contraption it was that had done this to him, it had seared and melted the flesh right off of the bone so that what was left of his skin was hanging down by his elbow and parts of his bone and muscle tissue had deteriorated altogether. Anyway, When I finally got into the school (now seeking an alternate route) I had made it to the gym when the back wall- composed mostly of glass windows- was completely shattered by these red beams. The beams then began hitting people and literally de-ionizing them into non-descript particle matter. Left with no other choice, I resorted to the fetal position to accept my unfavorable fate.
That's when I woke up, in a cold sweat, feeling like it couldn't have not happened because it was so incredibly life-like and lucid.
The point of this long explanation, other than to share with you what I believe to be one of the most memorable dreams of a lifetime, is to relate it to what was happening in my "real life" at the time.
I had the dream the summer my mom through my dad out of our house (for good reasons) and filed for divorce. I think I had such an intense, fearful dream of alien abduction because of the conscious and unconscious lack of control I felt at the time. I also think it had to due with a psychological fear of change: trying to escape from a reality that was going to affect me whether or not I was ready for it.
I hope that makes sense and that you can relate it to your life. Because, if it doesn't, I just wrote a short novel and you read it....in vain.

Ok fine, yes I am having these same kind of dreams, to many to list here. I am a realist/atheist.
I do not believe in anything unless it is real!
I have had to many of these dreams and thought what the hell I would go online and see if anyone else has.
And ok, now I am concerned.
My dreams fit this general theme:
I know y surroundings very well
The surroundings do not feel they are on this planet
I see battles between alien craft, and what I am certain is air craft from my planet trying to fight them off.
We almost always loose.
On some dreams the war has been over for a while and we are learning to live with the loss.
In others it is a total loss.
It takes a while to shake off the dream.
My first one was actually at 13 years old, now i remember it, planes crashing from the sky, but it did not have aliens in that dream.
I did not have anymore until the last 3 years and these always show a battle in the sky.
So now what" Dowe have a support group or something?
I am even kind of worried talking about it.

What an awesome dream! They probably took you in your sleep and made it look like a dream. Ive had similar dreams before like being taken on joy rides on alien space craft they've felt more real than the licid dreams I normally have.. Just enjoy the dreams I love that stuff. Btw: I dont watch alien shows or really believe in their existence so to all the people who are saying its because of that dont listen to them. @NO....Um...what a complete and utter load of crap. You dont know me or what I think about or how my mind works. This is the problem with people like you, generalisation. The world would be a much more comfortable place for your type if you could just categorise everyone into nice neat little packages so your rigid world view wasnt disrupted and you could go back to feeling safe in the delusion that you knew that there was a place for everything and everything was in its place. I bet all the knowledge you currently posses has come from punching questions into google. Just because you can cut and paste doesnt make you a f**king genius on the human condition. Furthermore how do you explain the dreams I have about things I know nothing about or even knew they existed. Dumbass, you mind is tiny and you can only comprehend what you can see, touch, smell, hear & taste. Locked into a 5 sense reality with no room to move. You comfortable with and understanding of reality as you're aware of it.

Wow! i thought i was the only one dreaming about aliens and lot's of ufo's flying in the sky, i dreamed about alien spaceships with different sizes (so BIG that it can cover a whole city or a whole country) and shapes... they have a color of cream paint and light green lights allover the ship, and sometimes they fly in groups.
I hope it was a dream, because that dream is almost too real.
Sorry, that my english is bad.

Um, it could be psychological, like you're stressed or something. Maybe you watch too much X files? Has anything traumatic happened to you recently?
Oh, and people who were 'abducted' were actually visited by demons. I've heard some people's scary accounts about demons.

To dream that you are being abducted by aliens, indicates your fear of your changing surroundings or your fear of losing your home and family. You feel that your space and/or privacy is being invaded. To see aliens in your dream, signify that you are having difficulties adapting and adjusting to your new surroundings. You are feeling "alienated" and disconnected. You may also be having difficulties with how to handle or deal with a certain situation or person. On a psychological level, seeing aliens represent an encounter with an unfamiliar or neglected aspect of your own self. L8r

Isn't that just so typical of aliens?.... carring out autopsies right outside peoples houses.
It sounds like you are about to be abducted. Dont worry about this, about 1 in 4 Americans are abducted each year and it doesnt seem to have too much efffect on society.
One possible downside is that you may start voting republican when you return but apart from that, you should be perfectly normal.
Have fun.
