Sounds like the Tarot cards. Ask yourself what the five and spears mean to you personally. Go with your intuition, first. Are there 5 important issues/things in your waking life that are weighing on your mind lately? Both the 5 of swords and 5 of wands in the Tarot have interesting interpretations. Spears also symbolize weapons of defense. Of course, I'm sure you know that Freud would say they are phallic symbols. I wouldn't agree with him, though.

It would be helpfull to know the context in which you saw the spears .
the basic meaning would be defeat-loss or failure
but if I knew how you saw them I could give more info .like--
were they standing on the butt point in the air?
small set back
were they pointed at you while being held?
you will be betrayed
laying on the ground,pointing at you?
a loss
