How can we raise public awareness that people should not use their initial impressions to judge women in this manner as she might be a feminist?

it's not really public speaking but just speaking in front of the classroom facing a bunch of people. i get nervous so easily. when i speak, i tremble a bit, my voice shakes (not very obvious though), my order of thoughts get mixed up.

grrr....i embarrsed myself so badly in front of the class yesterday. it seemed like as if they think that my english is poor.

i rarely participate in class. does that contribute to my nervousness in speaking in front of the class? and also english is my second language. i communicate with my friends in english quite fluently, it's just that i have problem speaking in front of the whole class.

someone help me pls!!

Feminism has been turned into a dirty word, which is sad. Feminism mean equal rights for women, and for women to be treated as human beings. That is it. Any more or any less is not feminism. Feminism doesn't mean pushing for a female dominated world or hating men. It means equality. I know everyone hears extremist from both sides, but they do not speak for the entire group of people. Why assume they do?

If you don't believe there are inequalities, that is one thing (which i believe to be wrong, there are alway inequalities for everyone, even white males). But to saying "im against feminism" is like saying "i don't believe women deserve equal rights."

So my question is, Now that i clarified what feminism means. What are you exactly against in feminism?

I swear to god my life has been really adventurous. I am 23yrs of age however and i feel not like a human being anymore. I am already a retired commercial pilot AND have had a Cancer diagnosis. I am doing ok right now but I have NO friends and I just want 1 person(girl) who can love me and.
whom i may love in return. I am just really angry/frustrated/sad yet priviallaged that I am a 23 and have been through so much. BUT I am sick of going to bars and clubs where people are living in lala land and base so much on image. I swear its always the nice guys that finish last. I love nature but don't want to be a hermit in the woods. I at least figur mabe a dog or something that i can love and will give love back is essental to me beacuse iswear I don't know how much longer I can live like this. I feel like i am ending up in a dead end. does anyone have thoughts on what i should do? should i just end it and go home to GOD?
P.S. I have pretty much lost all Family and friends due to my cancer

1) I have some interest in criminal psychology. My basic idea is that no one is essentially born "bad" nor is there a gene for evil and the criminal mindset is thus the result of traumatic experiences and/or faulty parenting. I'm looking to research further into this and applications of reversing the process to improve the criminal justice system.
2) Educational Psychology. Have you ever noticed that if you set a far off goal, the nearer ones come much faster? ie If you want to run 10 minutes, it takes forever, but if you want to run 30 minutes, that 10 minutes appears to come much faster. Well my idea for the application of that idea in education is to set up an experiment in which the subjects are "taught" various things on an empirical scale (such as math, harder things being built off the earlier subjects). A control group is tested after each lesson, and the test group is tested after on the first subjects after everything is taught. According to my theory (outta room)

I need help with my dtr's anger issues. When she gets angry (which is frequently) gets out of control and worry about it a lot.
Anyone knows how she can get help and what kind of help I should look into for her? She refuses psychotherapy and argues constantly at home.
Any groups/books/therapy methods I can look into?
Thank you all in advance

I recently met a real live, Croc wearing, minivan driving, cookie-baking, PTA committee chairing, stay at home dad.

He was nice enough, but frankly he was such a soft man that I just couldn't help but wonder what kind of woman would really want that kind of situation.

I understand about freedom of choice, but is this what feminists would like to see more of?

What about non-feminists? How many would want this kind of situation?

Ok this dream was the weirdest dream that Ive EVER had. I am NOT religious, and I dreamt about the devil?

It started off, like....a normal guy talking to me, and he was like explaining a bunch of stuff to me, and the things he said, fit how i felt somehow. Then idk how i figured out how he was the devil, but I was in class, and like the teacher had a juke box, the big tall round ones with records, and then some weird classical song started playing, and the classes desks were being spread out, and it was like a mini earth quake happening.

Then like the devil was stalking me, like begging me to love him, like not the,'Worship me!' kind of love, but love love....like he was obsessed with me. And then he tried to kill me, but I threw him out the window, and he died...lol

But I did not watch anything related to religion or about the devil, or play a game connected to that, and I do not believe, and yet I dreamt that.

Why? Also, I am not under stress or anything.

I have problems with that d*** snooze button on my cell phone, i can't control my self in the morning because i am too lazy to get up when the alarm goes off, so i just keep on pressing snooze for about 5-6 times before finally realizing that if i don't get up now, i am going to be late.
What do you guys do to prevent yourself from hitting that snooze button, or how do you force yourself to get up in the morning?

A couple of weeks ago I had a dream that I was sitting outside of my house, and 2 cars drove by real slow. I saw the second guy, and he looked me in the eye, and then shot me. I moved, so the bullet only hit my hand, and as a result I lost a finger or two. The weird part was I felt a warmth and burning. I have never been shot in real life, but I swear that is what it would really feel like. This has really bothered me lately. What does this mean? Why did I dream this?

I would have been happy had I been born at least 50 years ago. Women had opportunities back then--it's just that decades ago, a woman wasn't belittled for being a housewife.

Why do feminists have such a problem with putting their husbands and families first?

The notion of "false consciousness" was used by Marxists to explain why the workers didn't all become good little Communists and support their tyranny. Such people were headed for "re-education" or "liquidation".

Do feminists who use such loaded rhetoric realize its origins? Do that have that little respect for non-feminist women? And do they realize it plays right into the hands of those who equate feminism with Communism?
