Its totally normal in the animal world to see animals have "one night stands" and never see each other again. All for the sole purpose of survival of the species.

Not ALL women. Obviously not even feminists are worthy of that purpose.

" Survival of the species " is an incoherent concept. The individual is selected, except in very special cases. Not all animals " have one night stands. " We are one of the social species, who pair bond to a greater, or lesser degree. This is the reproductive strategy that replicates the individual organisms genes of our type most successfully. We cooperate to compete.
Your premise is incoherent.

Okay so this is obviously either a joke or written by a ten-year-old who forgot to take their ritalin.

Scientifically speaking, our species' (and hominids are animals... hominids are us, by the way) reproductive interests lie more in sperm competing for the egg... the male sperm is encoded to compete with other sperm... inside the female... which means there would be more than one male... are you catching on here? It's also a scientific fact that women's brains are more developed than men's on many crucial levels... yaknow, since we're very adept at long-term storage of viable sperm, why do we have men around? Hmm. Oh yeah! They're mildly entertaining and sometimes they smell good. And let's not forget about those ever-entertaining wars. CNN would have to shut down completely.

It's also totally normal in the animal world to see the female kill the male afterwards (e.g. the black widow spider) because, right afterwards, the male is pretty much useless (as he's fulfilled his purpose after a few seconds and the female, well, she needs to stick around for the survival of the species). Maybe you're onto something with this whole "animal world" analogy, although I doubt you realized it.

So not true. What about helping to raise the children brought about by reproductive purposes, looking after a man by cooking meals for him, washing his clothes, paying his bills, companionship, love-making, etc?
If a guys needs are met and he is happy, why would he want to leave?
Also too, while men are able to leave after their reproductive purpose is over and done with, what would happen to any child born? Children need not only their mothers, but their fathers too. Fathers are very important in society for helping to teach their children and guide them and to love.

Reproductive to carry on the bloodline is good but if the sex is good then I want to see her again and agian and again....One night stand is for someone who has not find great sex yet and still searching, but once you find the right person then you stick with her.

You are right about the animal world just wanting to reproduce but if you are human you should want to be in a civilized world and maintain a relationship with another human.

well that says alot about ur personality but you cant just blame it on the women ..how about u take a look at yourself with our boobs you judge whether or not u date us by the size of our boobs when we only need them for feeding babies (reproduction purposes) and you talk about one night stands ...hmm i seem to recall how guyz always want to sleep with as many girls as possible but if a girl wants to sleep with lots of guyz she gets called a ****, a hoe, a whore, a tramp ect. u think u've got it tough?? u dont have to go through the pain of child birth, u dont have to put up with your periods every month, u dont get called a **** for sleeping with people (apparently its called "scoring" & you get credit for it) and as far as im concerned u enjoy sex and often make or convince the girl to sleep with you as a "one night stand" so my point is how can you honestly ask the question "why cant women understand that we just need them for reproductive purposes?" and I dont mean to say women are 100% innocent coz were not but unlike u i can understand that its not only one sexes fault. both people have to agree to the "one night stand"!!!!

yeah, well we are also animals but we are a different species and for women it is natural to care and get attached it's just our nature we are very caring. By the way in case you haven't noticed men get attached too even if they don't admit it, I'm sorry but your question is somewhat ignorant, god luck finding an answer.

Well, you certainly are blunt. Yes, that is the point of having sex, to get one pregnant, so the species survives. Yet, our logical human senses tell us that's better to be married and form a unified front for the wee ones. Who else will protect them, except both parents; plus that unified front means a form of strength and stability. If only it were that simple. Anyways my agument is getting weaker with you. Off I run.
