Why do you like them and how attractive from 1 to 10 is it?

Very much so. It is one of the wonderful differences between men and women. It is a huge turn on for me.
Edit: Thank you Patios, You have just reminded me how this entire obsession with a deep male voice started for me as well: Louis Armstrong's dreamy song, "What a Wonderful World". It still brings tears of pleasure to my eyes every time I hear it.

If the deep voice in question is coming from a man, then it is between a 7 and a 9 depending on the tone. I do not like the deep scratchy whiskey drinker/smoker voice.

Yes, a deep voice can be nice but I have found in the past that men with deep voices sometime use it to get what they want...if you know what I mean.
That is not at all attractive.

Yes. A deep voice is extraordinarily beautiful to me. I think I like a deep voice so much because the first American single that I owned (old records) when I was only about 6 years old was Louis Armstrong's sweet song, "What a Wonderful World".

They're a lot sexier than whiny, high-pitched voices, I'll say that much. But voices that are TOO deep aren't sexy. There's a guy in my karate class who sounds about thirty years older than he is. It's pretty scary.

I think a high pitched voice on a man seems whiny and effeminate, even though that is totally unfair to the man who happens to have that high pitched voice.
I also love singers who sing baritone or bass.

Absolutely!
I like James Hetfield's voice... cannot say why. I also enjoy hearing women with deep raspy voices more than the high pitched ones. I'm listening to Vaya con Dios right now.

I'm not a woman. I'm a guy and I'm straight, but lemme answer on their behalf by saying that I have a deep voice, and based on my life, I don't think they find deep voices sexy.
LOL everytime someone quotes me they do it in a deep voice.

i think for me it is more than just the voice, it is the whole personna...the deep voice, rugged look, sexy eyes and mouth...men like S. Connery, M. Douglas, R. Gere...especially Connery...the raspy, rugged, deep voice is sexy...my husband's is amazing...even over the phone, it doesn't change. why...because my husband can whisper in my ear with his deep voice and my whole body gets hot and i just melt! i cannot explain it. how attractive...8.

It is very attractive. Especially if it's smooth sounding as well.
