Have you ever actually died in your dreams?

I don't think we can really dream of our death... we can only dream that we are dying (but not yet dead). Unless perhaps we dream we die, but then we are alive like a ghost or spirit or something, maybe...

I've dreamed a number of times that I am dying. I've never actually become dead, though, in a dream.

Also, do you dream of people you love becoming 'dead'? I tend to dream that they are dying but never actually die... maybe because I can't imagine them actually dying because dealing with a close death would be totally out of the realm of my knowledge and experience.

I wanted to become a more responsible person. Someone that lied less, and someone that led a happier life. I wanted to instate morals into my life as well. Also, people keep telling me I look so "down". Is there anyway to look happier, besides smiling? Can anyone help me with that, and also with my other problem? Thanks.

My polite answer was that I was about to enroll back into college to finish my degree...I was being restrainfully diplomatic and lady-like. My natural reaction was to bean her in the head with a dozen dead on rubber band shots!!

For instance, a young woman tragically loses her family and friends. All that remains in her life is a callous, crude, 'ubermensch-like' man who saved her from her own demise. Though she doesn't know it, through this coldness, he is in fact helping her through this process of mourning and existential awakening (like Tyler Durden from Fight Club).

My question is, what sort of strife and conflict would occur between these characters and what sort of literary and psychological devices should I use to exemplify this? What sort of psychological processes are involved in such a crisis and how are they expressed and interrelated? Does age or sex influence these processes? Are there certain stages of denial, admittance, acceptance, suicidal tendencies, etc.?

My dream: I saw myself sitting on my couch watching TV & all of a sudden the TV went out & the lights went out in the house. I went outside to see if it was just my house or if it was a power shortage on the block. Everybodies lights were out...even the light posts outside on the corner were out....It was dark everywhere as far as I could see...I stood outside wandering what the heck happened. It was quiet too quiet...then I felt it....something in the air....moving slowly....I could not see it but I felt something coming closer & closer....I remember being very scared in the dream....I thought of maybe somekind of radiation or something of that nature moving in on our little town....when I awoke I was petrified...I thought to myself that it was the end of the world. It was really freaky....I wrote that dream down in my journal.

I work at my college's library and there is this girl that melts my heart like a lava.
One time, when she was leaving, I approached her by offering her a pencil and saying "Excuse me! you left your pencil at the library" just so I can talk to her. She grinned and was shocked of course. After asking where she is from and where she works, I finally asked for her phone number and she openly gave it to me. After She said good bye, her words left exciting, yet overwhelming traces in my mind.
However, when I went home, I tried calling the number and it was an unworking number. I also tried different numbers in case she had given me the wrong number by mistake. But no,she had given me a false number on purpose.
Eversince I have a disgusting feeling about myself. An excessive low confidence.

What did I do wrong?

I'm thinking that if there are no guide lines for the relation with God's pleasures, then all things should be ok to do. I was told that Cain sadomized his brother out of insanity after killing him. If thats true, then homosex is a extension of insanity. I'm trying very hard to find a way to exist w/o females no matter how crazy & messed up they are, but at the end it's suicide.

Do you ever have days were you wake up and you have to think for a bit to know who you are. your family. youfriends. your boyfriend. and you realize this is it. this is the life i am stuck with. whether i want it or not.

Everyone around is dying or getting divorced. And you think you know somone.. and then they go and break your heart by telling you there secrets... showing you that everyone has their own demons they're battling.

Everyone is just so selfish. we forget that everyone else is going through something similar and just as painful if not worse. and we all walk around covering it up. Putting on a smile just to make it through the day because it doesnt seem socially acceptable to burst into tears and scream your lungs out in the middle of the street.

So we live the life we're stuck with and we make the most of it and just the fact that you can go though each day without actually killing yourself is reason enough to celebrate.

thoughts anyone?

I have been feelings kindof down lately due to a variety of things. So, today I registered for some classes.

I will be taking a Jazzy Jazz Dance Class, Cardio Fitness, Pilates and Tennis Class. I want to find fun ways to keep busy and meet people in the evenings.

I am also attending an Indian Music Concert alone next week and I am looking forward to it.

I do feel a little bit funny taking care of myself, but now realize that if I don't take care of myself I can't take care of anyone else.

My parents are pushing me to take a college course to be mentally busy. I want to enjoy these fitness classes first. In the fall, I can take a college course.

Does anyone else agree or should I wait until all other issues (child custody, permanent job, apartment, etc) are sorted out first?

Maybe about a few months ago, but sometimes it comes back to me slowly but only in bits and pieces. I really wish i could remember things better. Also if i see a movie and the next day someone asks me how it was, i can not even tell them. I mean i remember that it was good or whatever but once again bits and pieces are missing and i really struggle to remember many parts to it. please help...is there something i can do or what?

For 7 years, I've been a productive PhD candidate during which I did well in science research, teaching and services to university: worked on many projects, wrote up results and presented in conferences; received teaching awards; served on a university's Board of Trustees. Then my advisor left the university, and soon after I also left under a difficult situation.

In the years since, I tried to learn new skills, volunteered, and found some work here and there; I am now unemployed. I wish to be working and be productive again.

I can't help being a very shy, considerate, and caring person. I hate myself for being like this, because I' m always the one who ends up with my feelings hurt. Sometimes I wish I’m a bad person. Being bad is an advantage.
