Accidental suicide would be when a person does something that turns out to be fatal that they had NO clue would be harmful. Like mixing cleaning products and inhaling the fumes, or mixing medications, etc. The person ends up killing themself when they really truly did not know what they were doing was dangerous.

Honestly it depends on what the true definition of suicide is, or what your definition is or whatever. If you believe that suicide is the act of killing yourself then yeah accidental suicide is a definite possibility, if you get in a car and then skid on some ice and drive into a pole, is that suicide? because you got into the car didn't you? To me however i believe that suicide is the act of taking your own life on purpose and therefor i don't believe in accidental suicide. But then again, the true answer to that question is between the person and God so anything is possible.

I believe what you are refering to is Parasuicidal behaviour.
Some people atempt suicide, but have it planned that they will be saved (just overdosed and called a friend,or standing on a ledge till someone tries to talk them down), these people do not really want to die but are frustrated and feel that they are not getting help, or are not being heard, this is the classic "cry for help". Sometimes it does not go as planned, perhaps the parasuicidal person overdosed a couple minutes before someone is expected, but the expected person is held up for some reason and the person dies as a result. This is what would be called an accidental suicide.

Depending on exactly how you define suicide, might say anyone who kills themselves, even by accident, is a suicide or more commonly, someone who intended to create an injury to gain attention but went too far and died is an accidental suicide - the man on the 10th story ledge who slips and falls. The man with a rope around his neck yelling at passers by who jumps or slips and the rope he thought was long enough snags and hangs him. (Where an accident would be that someone fell and a rope they were using for safety wrapped around and choked them.)

There is accidental suicide/death, various forms of it actually, even OD'ing on pills can be considered accidental suicide, only of course if they didn't intend to over dose, obviously.
An old friend of mine..his neighbors son, accidentally killed himself this year. I might be a little wrong with what actually happened, but I believe he had a fight with his girlfriend, threatened to hang himself, then actually went to do it. He realized what he was doing too late and ended up dying. I think they said there were obvious signs that he was trying to save himself. Young man too....God keep him close to his side.

I remember hearing it on the news about 2 guys who inadvertently killed themselves. They were parked in a garage drinking alcohol in the winter time at work. They got a bit tipsy and feel asleep. While sleeping and having the car running in a garage, both men were consumed by carbon dioxide fumes. They died from carbon dioxide poisoning.
This case was ruled as an "accidental suicide".(They didn't have intentions of killings themselves. Their intentions were to get drunk on the jjob and merely stay warm in doing so.)

I guess it would be one that a person plans for it to fail and it doesn't, so it was an accidental suicide. I don't know how you would ever prove that.

There is no such thing, but a suicide can be made to look like an accident or an accident can look like a suicide, but .... accidental suicide? no..... a person commits suicide on purpose....

Many attempts to kill oneself are meant to get attention, to say, "help me", not to actually end ones life. Unfortunately, some of those attempts go too far and those so-called "suicides" are termed accidental.

sometimes an incident can be ruled "accidental suicide" because the person may have been harming theirself, but they could have still wanted to avoid death.
EX: Some3one who is overwhelmed with grief and sadness takes pills ONLY to dull the pain, however they took too many and it killed them.
