You'll be dead.
Okay okay I'll add more to it. You decompose in the ground and turn into fertilizer. Does that mean you become a plant afterwards? Maybe, maybe not.
But seriously why don't people just try to live first?

Same thing as when a plant dies. We go back in the ground and fertilize the earth, to make more life. Since we are human and have thoughts, unlike plants, we tend to think of imaginary places that our souls go to hang out after we die. Pain and suffering, along with happiness comes from our brain - not our soul. When we die, feelings and emotions also die.
We overthink this subject way too much. You won't know that you are dead, you will just be dead. Your body will decay unless cremated.
Why do you visit gravestones when the "person" is not there? It's just a decaying body. The person is in memories and teachings and good feelings.
When we die, our bodies go in the ground, our souls are gone when the brain dies and our memory is what makes people miss us.

Your spirit never dies! It lives on for eternity. You will either come back in another life, or it may be your last life, and you will just stay in heaven as we call it. We will be greeted by our loved ones that has passed, even our pets that have passed. We wont have any of the hardships we have here on earth. We will be in a much better place really! When we pass over, everyone is about equivalent to about 30 years old on the other side. We will know about all the lives we lived here on earth, and will decide if we will come back or not.

Good Question. I think life is not a journry to the grave with the intention to arrive in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "WOW--What A Ride!"

The body is only a vessel for the essence that is you. Many Religions call it a soul, others have other names for it. Whatever it is, it is eternal and on your body's death you move on to another plane of existence. Only the body dies.

no matter what your religion is...there has to be something that created everything but it couldn't have come from nothing. something had to get it there to begin with. our brain can't fathom that. and yes, this does have to do with your question. i think when you die, you will meet who ever bought us here, because whether you believe in the supernatural or not, if who ever made everything can make it come from nowhere, then im sure you can meet the person when you die, and your brain will be able to comprehend how everything came from nothing.
