Ive often wondered why it is that some people are such optimists and others such pessimists.

Why is it that some people can mope about and feel so sorry for themselves or throw themselves off of bridges when people in much worser conditions can life quite happily? What differentiates the two groups?

I was feeding fish to the seals in the zoo when the wind started blowing me towards the big cats.
I thought they would eat me if I fell in their cage because I had the bloody smell from the fish on me.
I tried to grab a fence or a tree but the wind was moving me too fast.
Then a big white tiger caught me by my neck with its jaw before I fell in the cage.
It had wings so it flew away with me.
The other cats looked disappointed when I did not fall in their cage.
I was hoping the flying tiger would drop me so I could escape.
But it carried me out of the zoo and then dropped me into a pack of hungry wild panthers.
They immediately started tearing me apart and eating me.
I must have been outside my body while they ate me because I was watching them.
After I was reduced to just a head and some bones, the tiger came flying back from the zoo with one of my zookeeper friends in its jaw.
When the panthers started tearing him apart it was too difficult for me to watch so I woke up.

I dreamt of a really strange area twice the past month,it was unlike any place id ever dreamt of or seen in RL ,almost unworldy.

Then last week I found an old news articale about a mummy
they found in siberia in the altay region - i don't know anything about archeology or siberia so I looked it up online and the area was indentical to the place I dreamt about.


Is it possible to sense something your about to find/discover in a dream?

I have trouble expressing myself articulately when someone tries to make me look bad or shame me for something. This is my biggest fear in the world, not being able to explain myself and make others see the truth about myself or others when I am attacked. I live in fear of getting into arguments with people like this, especially catholics. It's easy for me to express myself in writing, but when I am in the moment, it is harder to do and I get a lump in my throat and I get pissed off.

I've seen psychologists. They support divorce, tear families apart, encourage emotion over reason, tell people to do what they feel instead of what is right, encourage people to use drugs to suppress natural feelings, defend criminals and justify evil acts, and are leading to the decline in values and academic performance of our children.

I don't mind the studying of human behavior and the mind, but what they do goes far beyond that, they are molding our society to one that Huxley predicted.

For example...the most common thing-depression. You don't need drugs for that. You need help, support, and love. But psychology says you NEED medicine. Tell me all you psychologists, how did humanity survive 3000yrs without medicine? Psychologists invent diseases to diagnose people with to get more money when they buy services and drugs.

This is a deceitful industry that is a blight upon our society in my opinion. Yourthoughts?

I wasn't fighting for anything. He was. He kept asking me why i was so calm, and truth be told i didn't know. i was tired having swam that day as well as weight trained and i had the sniffles. i just feel like maybe i should have done something. i suppose my reasoning is this; he was fighting for jealousy which coincides with ones pride, (i was teaching his girlfriend to play guitar) had i fought back and left him a black eye or a broken nose, i don't think he would have been satisfied. i don't think he would have had closure. i don't think about what i should have done because what happened was exactly the way that things were supposed to happen. i'm just in wonderment of myself. am i a coward for not fighting back, or am i brave?

I take my dogs on walks, try to do good in school, clean up the house for my parents, & workout sometimes. I'm asking this question just to see, what other people do. I'm curious to see how many other people believe in this kind of a concept, I'd think there'd be lots, but I'm not really sure.

I have really low self esteem. Actually I don't think I have any if that is possible. I don't go out of the house b/c I think everyone dislikes me, I can't make eye contact with people, I don't talk @ school, my family makes it worse, and I just found out I failed my class b/c I was so scared to do my final in front of everyone so I ditched it (it was an acting class) How do I get my self esteem back? Does it sound like I need therapy or something, b/c I have been struggling with this 4 years so I think I need someone's help now. Please help if you can, thanks =)
