That perfectly normal. After I was bitten by a brown recluse spider ten years ago, I always am on the lookout for spiders of any type,on the ceiling, floors, and walls. if you have ever experienced a bite from one of these spiders, you need to stay alert for any spiders around you. These little buggers have a venom that when you start itching you scratch and when you scratch, you touch other parts of your body and transfer the poison to those areas and each place you carry the venom, starts rotting that spot.If you don't see a doctor right away these spots quickly spread and rots each spot till they deepen to the bone and cause permanent nerve and bone damage. You all need to watch for these little ba-------s,they have a small marking of a fiddle on their backs.

I read your question and decided not to answer it and was looking for another. I stopped and nuked a snack to eat. As I was sitting there eating a black spot in the corner of my vision came at a fast speed towards me and I automatically stepped on it. Yep it was a big black spider, about the diameter of a quarter. This is not a common occurence here. I do have spiders but they are mainly in the basement. I kill any I see up here. I decided to come back to your question and share this. It is 0100 here and when I go to bed I may not be sleeping as soundly as usual. lol

I don't. I only check for them when I feel them coming down from the ceiling and that's rare. One of my roommates fears spiders and I assume she does that, but she's crazy. But anyway, as long as it's not messing up your everyday life you're fine.

No but my husband hates them so I spray spider killer, in the corners of the ceiling and floor to keep them away. I also do the basement because he assumes that they come from down below.

Spiders dont terrify me at all. I never check for spiders. Its a phobia you have and have to live with. I think its better to check though then to be startled by a spider crawling up your leg when your least unaware

No, not usually. I do when I'm outside because, there is alot always on my patio. I live in the desert so there are alot of black widows and other poisonous spiders. I always look for scorpions too when I'm out, I hate those bugs.

I do this too. I really hate spiders. They seem to like to dive into my hair??Geez there must be a way to get them gone. One of my friends was killed by a recluse spider when he went to the shore.
