I need someone?

Question

I would like someone, who is good at interpreting dreams, or a dream analysis to help me figure out if my dreams have any significance or meaning.

I have begun a new relationship, with this wonderful young woman. I have been as good a friend to her as I could; The first time I wanted to admit I had feelings for her, she liked someone else, and I being myself, do not allow myself to pursue a woman who’s affections belong to another man, I just find it ungentlemanly I suppose. However, like I said we both admitted our feelings over a gradual period of time. Right now I am currently trying to enlist into the US armed services. I chose to be an MP rather than infantryman, because I thought of how she would feel, and I took into consideration I knew she would be hurt if I told her I was going to be just another soldier that could possibly end up in Iraq. I didn't want to hurt her, so I easily adapted and changed my plans and am trying to become a Military Police officers. I could use the training and still be a Cop as a civilian. But just the other night I had to, beautiful albeit personal dreams, different, but somewhat similar.

In the first dream, Tiara, the girl whom I am just getting into a relationship was laying down on a bed. I just assumed it was on a bed, facing towards me. She was asleep as far as I could tell in my dream. I was sitting on the edge of the bed, and I was buttoning up a shirt. The shirt was a cops uniform, which didn’t surprise me because I’ve always wanted to be in law enforcement. What did surprise me was I had a tattoo. The tattoo was of three rings that were like the ones you would wear, and they had words inscribed on them, with a dagger stabbing between them, all three of them bound by the tip that looked as though it were piercing my heart. Two of these rings were held up, side by side and one hung down. The words inscribed on the top two were Love and Friendship and the one that hung down was Loyalty.

Well, I looked back at her and smiled and I felt in my dream content beyond anything I’ve ever felt before, like all my manic depression and my constant self berating had

which would in reality make me feel a lot better. And I reached over, and brushed back her hair slowly, and then proceeded to lean over and kiss her cheek softly. I then said “Beautiful.” And she then asked me if I was looking at the sunrise again, which was another thing that surprised me, because Tiara doesn’t know that I love watching the sun set or rise if I am up. And I said “Yeah, one that I could stare at forever.”

The second dream, I was walking past a dimly lit room, much as the first only instead of the daylight poking through the blinds, it was a scented candled and it smelled like various berries, I couldn’t pick out a certain type, it was just a mixture. Sure enough, Tiara was laying there, with her head laying side ways over top her hands which were folded one over the other, and her arms bent out to either side, and her body just laying across the bed. I wasn’t sure if she was upset, or just tired so I crept in and when I got to the bed, I began to crawl towards her and then I moved over top of her, allowing her enough space to move if she wished but I slowly lowered myself, and began a nuzzling motion into the side of her neck where it was bent from how she was laying. She began giggling and told me to stop and nudged at me with her shoulder, but all I did was laugh and nuzzled her again. This time she turned around and tried to push me back but I wouldn’t budge and I just laughed at her

While I was looking down at her, my dog tags and a necklace that she caught and read “You are my north star, my way home.” To Tiara from William. She then looked up at me, and I was smiling down at her like I had done something so awesome, and I was just giddy for some reason. And then I just slowly lowered my head and I kissed her softly.

The reason I am asking you if you will help me interpret my dream is, it seems odd that I have such a personal, in-depth and detailed dream about a woman I have yet to meet in person, right now its just an internet relationship, but she did ask me to come to her house once I got out of Basic and training in the National Guard. I would just like to know if it has some significance, or if its just a fantasy dream, I personally hope it does hold some meaning to it.

Well, see the man she liked actually ended up hurting her, which in turn upset me a great deal. While we haven't met in person, we've grown to know each other a good deal. She and I keep in contact, calling each other night and day. We did recently confide in each other, our feelings, and I suggested I could visit her once I got out of basic and she actually said she would want me to come up to see her. I thank those who have answered the question, but also apologize for not making that quite as clear as I should have.

William, your dream indeed is a beautiful one to you. You sound like you hold this young woman in high esteem. Why should that feeling not continue on in your dream. You have created a "Happily Every After" dream from your thoughts and feelings about this woman you wish was in your life. She told you she has feelings for someone else but you have taken your good feelings for her and created these wonderful dreams.

Your dreams are personal and beautiful but there is nothing in them that says they are telling you of things to come. If you truly love this woman then do not go out of her life so easily. However, an internet relationship is not a real one and therefore you have not had the "experience" part of the relationship---that's the part your mind supplied you in your dream.

Hi, From my experience the dreamer is the best person to interpret his or her own dreams. All others are just guides. I would suggest that you go to a public library and read all books on dreams, and then start on a book store for new titles. Write down every dream even if you only remember bits. Read over what you have written. Each person has their own meanings for the symbols in their dreams but there are also universal symbols. A study of dreams would be of help in all this. Don't just rely on dream books which have dream things listed and their meanings. This practice is limiting.

Just keep recording your dreams in your journal and studying books on working with dreams plus working with the material in your journal. Good Luck!

By the way, YOU are your best dream analyst because you know yourself and you know what's going on in your life. Look for themes that repeat themselves and things that you don't want to deal with when you're awake.
