Do you ever award "Best Answer" to someone with whom you don't completely agree or even totally disagree? Or, only those who tell you what you want to hear?

I am finding that some are blocking all answerers with whom they disagree. That is pretty closed-minded IMO.

I noted that a number of my BA's have been awarded to people whom I often (but not always) disagree with. But, we found at least *some* common ground.

(One I wish I could take back since I have since learned that she is a bona fide man-hater, but at the time I enjoyed the heated exchange. So, I awarded BA on that basis.)

What is your pattern? Do you at least sometimes award BA to someone because they have a good argument even if you didn't agree, or do you only award BA when they say exactly what you would've said if you answered your own question?

I have a few couples who are married but they are open to other sexual activities, at one time i thought that its ussually the hubby pressures the women into it, but its not the case with 2 of the couple`s i know, it was the women who initiate it, so i guess my opinion just went dont the drain about the hubby pressuring, is it a product of the modern lifestyle ? is it because women are more liberated in their sex life, or is it becuase marriage is getting more and more of just a institution for making babies ? hmmm wonder if real love exists anymore or ppl just becoming an item just outta lust ? oh well,times is changing i suppose, in some ways i need to change myself too,just to protect myself i guess,anyway its just a curiousity question,,,dont burn me for this question, its a reality and it is happening, and if someone from this kind of relationship is around then i would love to know whats your opinion and the pro`s and con`s of it,

I see a pathway that leads to a big, shady tree thats covered in cherries and when I sit beneath it I realise there is someone else with me but they are on the telephone?? I dont get further than that cos I try to hard to see my companion and it fades. Any interpretations out there please? This image has come to me several times when Ive been on a deep relaxation journey and Im going that little bit deeper. This is the point where I usually see glimpses of things, but they are usually actual things I know this is symbolic but I cant work it out!

Last night i had a really strange dream and was wondering if anyone could interpret it for me!!

I was on a night out with my friends and mum at a big manor house which was like a pub club inside, it was really quiet only a few groups of people sitting about chatting and the place was due to close soon. My mum was there and had one drink before completely embarrassing herself, after trying to calm her down i started running my mouth off at my best mates telling them what i thought of them. I never got any response from them.
Then i bumped into a guy i knew at uni who i knew didnt like me (aparently he didnt like overweight people and wouldnt be friends with anyone carrying a little weight) So i decided to tell him what i thought of him. Then i ran away and realised he was chasing me with a knife with the intent of killing me. I hid in a bush but my friends pointed him in my direction at which point i woke up!
Any ideas as to what this could mean??

I hate feeling normal. It is just so dull, boring... I just can't think the same way...
When I am depressed, I am tired, "down", even maybe a little suicidal, but I can think! My creativity really gets going, and I just haven't found anything that can beat the feeling of being able to create things like that. I just can't give it up...
I don't feel quite like myself when I am not depressed. I have the suicide attempts (and the scars) behind me.
It isn't bipolar. None of those meds work, and I don't have the manic episodes.
I am most myself when I am creating something, and I can't create anything when I am not depressed; but, the depression can't possibly be healthy for me, can it?

Say a man is constantly saying that u r fat, stupid and that you never so anything right. They threaten things like, If you don't like the way things are then leave or wait until you meet my next girlfriend...He says things like this and yet he never really makes the move to end the relationship. My daughter has been adopted by my aunt. She has been braught up in a rich atmosphere. She is good in her studies till she was in hostel and after she has been joined in Engineering and became free bee and neglected studies. ok, so i've had this dream a few times and it goes like this...i find myself going to an airport, but the traffic there is terrible. once i'm in the aiport, these tornados start sweeping through the airport and i quickly make it out...then my grandpa is driving me from there and in the distance i see a volcano about to erupt and i'm still scared because the traffic is really bad...pretty much like the end of the world.

I have currently booked an appointment with a therapist. What I plan to discuss is issues of possible symptoms that I think can be bi-polar, OCD, or something like that. But is going to a therapist rather than a psychologist the right person to go to? Can they diagnose these things as well? Should I keep the appointment or find a psychologist? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
