In one of my dreams I heard a voice at the end of it,they said
"the loudest engaged tone can be heard even through the loudest ringing"
can anyone tell me what the message means? i don't get it?

I do recall the dream - a young boy told me he wanted to be a writer,so I then spoke to his mother on a bus,i told her it was important he doesnt become a teacher because he would resent her all his life,I passed some houses with weird curved roofs.Then the voice bit.

(ANS) DON'T assume the message from your dream has a logical or literal meaning it probably WONT. Dreams & messages contained in dreams always have a symbolic meaning, sometimes the meaning is hidden or isn't at all obvious.
**The voice is a part of yourself, usually the ego or super ego.
MY INTERPRETATION !!
**If you think about the message in the dream its about an engaged tone, an engaged tone is about NOT being able to get through to someone, that someone could be a part of yourself or it could be literally another person.
The message is actually convolved & comes back upon itself, its a twisted message. Meaning? no matter how loud the ringing, no matter how much you try or shout or push to be heard, the other person isn't listening. A part of yourself isn't listening for some reason which isn't made clear from what you describe from the dream. Had you remembered more the meaning would have been clearer.

I think the meaning of it is this. Tone is not as powerful as as a loud ringing. But if the tone of a subject is able to engage the ears of the person who is listening, it can pierce and overcome the loudest of distraction and obstacles. I believe the weird shaped curved roofs on the houses you saw represent represents things to us which appear unpopular and unconventional. But they are effective and serve their purpose just the same. Your dream seem to point to you saying that the young boy would be more effective as a teacher, but the fact that a writer is not as popular and desirable. I believe God is saying that He can get the glory out of whatever a person is called to do, no matter how weird or abstract the occupation. Okay, take care.

for as long as i can remember i have know this dream . i cant remember any visuals or even when i had it (im not even sure if it was a dream). the only thing i remember is the screaming human voice . it sounds or sounded quite surreal . it is louder than an atomic bomb and then , it stops , but the same voice that was hauntingly loud now begins to whisper . i enter a zone of nirvanna . . . . . . . . ; . ' ; could this be a prophecy to a painful death followed by an instant peaceful afterlife or as it was (to the best of my knoledge) a dream , could it symbolise something different . . . . . ' ; ; ' . , . . . .

To hear voices in your dream, signifies a message from the unconscious or spiritual realm.
This is all I could find on voices sorry.
I'm curious about the saying though.

It means a bird was singing outside your window and your brain interpreted the noise into a nonsense phrase.
Dreaming is the state between consciousness and unconsciousness so don't worry if the content is surreal.

It could possibly b a saying thats simular to ones lik 2lights on but nobodies home" kinda thing. lik maybe you have been convided in by someone but they no you sat there with them physically but felt you werent there mentally(ie;you werent listening)

what i read into it...of course this is just me...is they are telling you to listen to people who are talking to you...not just be there for the conversation but when you are really listening, nothing else can interrupt...perhaps you are having conversations with people and only getting part of it before you have to go to class, work, carry on with life etc...and this may be telling you to slow down and listen to what they are trying to tell you...
