yes, it's does because of the halo effect. People have a natural tendency to trust people who look healthy and fit. If a hot 5' 11' blonde comes up who wants to later kill you ask you to help her most men but will do it compare to older fat lady with warts and balding hair who's a nurse.

Well, it didn't work on Donald Trump. Man, your personality counts the most, and personality is not measured by the length of your hair. the way u talk, the way u respond, and the way u respect other people are the essential qualities u must have to make people respect u. lemme give u an example: Chewbacca's hair is much longer, but why is he still following Han Solo' butt everywhere he goes? it's called respect. Got it?

No, personally I don;t think the length of your hair should matter....it should be whether you are qualified and do your job well. Unfortunately, people are judgemental and some people are still prejudiced to long hair on men. It also depends on what field you go into. My nephew has really long hair, down his back, he;s a mechanic and has no trouble with it where he works. I have also seen some prestigious lawyers who have long ponytails with their suit and tie on. It shouldn't matter at all, but I think it depends on where youlive and what you do.

No. I think that your personality determines the respect that you earn. I know some "freaky lookin" people at work and as friends who get all the respect they need because of how they carry themselves, not based on their looks.

yes, for just the first glance.
when a well managed- long haired girl first walk into the office, people think she's a smart professional until after seeing her not so good working ability.
first glance matters to a lot of people. sometimes i really think it's crazy :)

in part, yes. currently i have long hair but i cut it every couple of years to a shorter length. i experience people treating me differently as the length of my hair changes. curious, but it does matter to some people.

It depends on if you're a woman or man. women tend to be more judgemental & vengeful of each other. men are more or less cool. women are jealous of the length and color of a womans' hair. The longer it is, the meaner they are. That's the truth!!!!!!!!!
