And now there has been copy cats!

Shouldn't we just stop talking about him?

And just pay our respects to the families who lost their children/brother/sister etc.

Many might have researched this subject before. What is the current thinking regarding the origin of thoughts.Whether it is from our inner region? Or thoughts float in the sky and our mind catches it? Can anybody enlighten me about it?

We had someone at work similar (?) to this Virg Tech killer - we thought one day he'd lose it and come in shooting everyone. We didn't know what to do so we just continued going to work with him always watching our backs. This is terrible - but what else is there to do? You can't report him because he hasn't done anything wrong? you don't want to hurt this person's character either if you're wrong - so what can you do? any suggestions?

I haven't seen any newscast either talk about proactive measures on what to do if you work or go to school with someone you suspect have the same characteristics as this killer - if I missed some program that discusses it please respond. Thanks!

both are disgusting either way. but i do think it is worse when a woman does it because they do it out of emotion. men do it out of lust

If we were able to stop or incredible reduce DUIs and drug addiction as well as other crime. A great deal of jobs and funding would be gone. Not to mention the politics that depends on crime.
Do you ever think that part of the problem is that we don't want a solution, we are just looking for treatment?

As a guy I think us men are scared to show many of our emotions. I recently broke up with my girlfriend and it affected me a lot. However, since I didn't feel comfortable talking to our friends about my inner pain, it just kind of built up and burned a whole inside of me. As a result, my work and social life were negatively affected.

What have you observed in your life? Do men or women handle break-ups better?

i cannot take anything easy, keep thinking what is right and wrong. I feel that i am perfectionist to extreme degree and torture myself caught up in vicious circle of thought with no way of finding an answer to self posed questions. I am also very unsatisfied, probably because i am also very passionate.
I sometimes say take it easy, but i cannot. i feel that taking something easy, is against my will, even if i know that it is for my good. if you have any clue of what i am talking, can you help me.?

Were the killings at Virginia Tech a result of better drugs, and medicines? Was he the result of better medicine? Sort of like a super bug or infection? Bread by the new Psychology, and new drugs? Why now? There has never been a time when this has occured? Really ask yourself is it a result of societies being ill or just one person? Are we as much to blame for the killings? Did the new Psychology fail or did it create this new strain of killer?

Technically i'm not that bad, I graduated with a degree, my parents are still alive and our financial condition is above the average level, but I just have huge fear for future,I think I picked the wrong speciality ( I majored in applied math), I don't know what job should i take, all my friends major in finance, MBA...etc got jobs.....should I go on take a Master degree?...what life will be like for me 10 years later?..Will I be mediocre like most people?...If so, then life is not worth living...I just feel like I'm engulfed with a black hole..

My boyfriend went to jail for 3 years. He has been out for 5 years now. He is emotionally fine..I think. Just wondering if anyone can help me to understand him more by sharing your experiences. The thing I've noticed is that nothing worries him in life, I think maybe cos what's worse than jail for 3 years.

I just met him, and we argued for the first 2months,one day i figured that he wasn't thinking right,so i observed him for a few days and saw on a book the symptoms of bipolar and HES GOT THEM ALL!now i try to tel him that he might (very sure)have it, but he doesn't agree with me,witch is another symptom (denial of something being wrong) HELP!!!

IF the sides of a square are increased by 3 in., the area becomes 64 in squared. Find the length of a side of the original square.

I have to solve if by factoring
the obvioius answer is 5, but i need to use factoring.
this is what i got so far.

X+3 squared - 64
X2 +6x +9 =64
(X-5) (X+11)
now how do i get that back to my answer
