When I was 14 I was in a pretty bad car crash. I was told I would probably never walk again.

I had physio about 4times a week and now I can walk again, painfully.

In NZ you are able to get your licence at 15. Since the crash, I've been so scared to get in a car, let alone try for my drivers licence.

All my friends have it, and i'm the only one who hasn't.

Everytime I go to read the road code I get so angry and so upset I just sit there balling my eyes out.

My parents don't know how I feel, noone does. They all think I'm too lazy to go for it.

It's almost like this physically barrier. I really can't explain this type of fear. I've never felt like this about anything before.

I don't trust myself. I'm scared i'm going to kill someone else on the road.

Please, i'm desperate for help!

What can I do?

In this politically correct world, where spanking your child is now a crime, who thinks that possibly this might have been prevented by parental guidance? Not saying the man wasn't sick mentally, but does it stand to reason that if his parents could disipline him that this tragedy may not have happened?
I do realize the man was sick and still passed through a mental health check. But still,in this PC world,it makes me wonder if his A$$ got whooped like mine when I was a kid,if this would ever have happened.
Just FYI,I got my butt whooped as a kid,and now have a healthy relationship with both parents and my own family.I grew up somewhat resentful, but the lessons stayed.I knew right from wrong.I know that shooting at 65 people is wrong.I wonder if today's kids with all the PC crap will be the next aggressors.

If i met Cho before the shooting. I would think he was the "never fit in" type of kid. All through his life since he moved to America at.. 8 years old i believe.. he never fit in. I would think he's the type that just tried to hard too "be cool" and everyone just found his lame attempts disgusting, either making fun of him all the time or just ignoring him. I know you guys have to have at least known one of those types.

that was 2yrs ago after we meet again on his birthday..we've been together for 8 months.i know it is a short time for us to know each other..but when were together we really love each other..and during that time i never tried to give myself to him
that was only on his birtday last 2005.
Though we have a short time getting to know each other i feel it in my heart that he really mean that he loves me.

I hear this each and every morning. She strikes a 'bell' sound 4 times, pauses for about 5 seconds and strikes this 'bell' again 4 times, pauses for 5 seconds and this goes on about 8 times altogether. She does this every morning at about 7.30. I've actually seen her on my way to work with her front door open and it looks like one of those triangles you used to play at school in the music lession that she holds up and 'sounds' each time. She has such a serious face when she does this. Do you know what this is all about?

So imagine you are kind of "seeing" this guy and he says that he loves only after about 2 months...you deffinitly don't love him. You try and cover, but end up saying it back just to get him to shut up....4 months later, you are miserable and feel almost like he is stalking you....you can't seem to get rid of him...he is always there, every day. He calls you all the time, even when you are in class, and trying to sleep, and he leaves a hundred messages on your messenger and email...How would you tell him that you don't love him without totally ruining him and making him go crazy????

Recently I have been having these weird episodes, usually at night, and after doing some reading, I still can't figure out what it is. I'm overcome with an intense feeling of worry, like something is really wrong. I don't know what or why. My heart races and it seems like I can feel my blood pumping through my veins. I can't relax, I can't shake it off, and I can't make myself feel better. I have been pretty stressed out lately, but it doesn't seem like that would cause it since I have a pretty high stress life anyway. I don't feel depressed, and I don't feel like my world is crashing in and I don't want to die(that's what most of the medical websites described panic attacks as). I just feel like something is wrong or someone is in danger, and I get a really helpless feeling. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

30 years ago, I wrote a manuscript and quite stupidly cast a friends mother in a very negative light and certainly embarrassed her as well as her children - it was never published, but they did read my work - I don't know what was going through my head - I do not normally do mean things but in retrospect, this was not nice. I tried to bring out an aspect of her life that would have been best kept private and did not ask her permission - it will never be published.

It was mostly ignored at the time and we never had a falling out.. I remained friends with all involved - So - do I offer a long overdue apology to Mother [ now near 90 and sharp ] and son or do I just let it go.. I do suffer it sometimes but only am concerned about their feelings - would a long overdue apology re-visit a forgotten hurt or be welcome?
