Im studying sports science in college and at first I thought it was ok. But now im wondering if its for me. We've been made work in groups on certain projects and Ive found that im not too great at this. Im more laid back and not too serious wereas the poeple in my group are very serious........in fact pretty much everybody in my class is real serious. I know you gotta be a bit serious about stuff and I can do this, but im just not comfortable around these people. I mean we're in college and nobody in my class goes out and gets drunk!!!! This is college and we are students, its a rites of passage. The points to get into this course a really high so id say thats why people are so serious. Add to that the fact that This is a very broad course and theres no clear career path to follow at the end of 4yrs so Im not sure where im going. My motivation is pretty much zero rite now and I dunno what to do. What do you think? Thanks

In American culture, long hair on men was popularized in the 60s as an anti-establishment message. What message, if any does it carry today?
Is long hair on men widely accepted in the workplace, or is it ok only in specific occupations? In what occupations is it not acceptable?

When we get so caught up in the rush of just barely keeping up with life, it's easy to forget how we intended for life to be like. What dream would u start working towards if u had a $50K headstart?

Do you show your real self, Regarding to all of your short comings Are you prepared to be laughed at, in your naivety, Or do you Act, in what you would like people to see you as. Shakespeare said, The world is a stage?-----Full of Actors.

Other than knowing that his parents own a dry cleansers I would like to know more about Cho's home life maybe that can give the authorities more insight on why he was so full of rage, everyone interviewed talked about nothing except how angry he appeared, unless he was schizophrenic and dilusional that anger had to have been brewing a very long time. When did it start and whats the origin?

I had a dream that me, my family, and my friend steven were sitting my living room watching tv when there was a newsbreak. They told us that a meteor was heading towards earth and they knew that it was going to make impact somewhere on the surface.

We had to attend classes to learn to deal with a situation of this magnitude. After class me and my family, and a whole community of people I have never met before were gathered by a giant hill and discussed the impending disaster. While discussing I over heard that a meteor had hit somewhere 50 years earlier and the survivors of this thought they were the only people still left on earth, and renamed theirselves cause their speech was elimnated, and had to live of the land.

We stayed at the hill for 15 minutes before leaving to stock up on supplies. My mom drove, my brother got $200, and me and my dad smoked a cigarette. My cigarette turned all tar and got on everything.

Once we got home we turned on the tv and the news warned us

It can be anything that you feel represents you.
Say you were to die tomorrow, how would you like to be remembered?
e.g. strong, passiontate and indecisive.
Or maybe your favourite item you have or food you like you would like to be remebered as, it's up to you.

I mean, when I'm drunk, I keep saying that I'm not.

Isn't there a possibility that I am crazy and not know it. Am I living in denial?

Is it possible for someone to forgive but not forget? Sometimes I feel as though those who do not forget are just not pure creatures...over the years situations just stick with me, some of them I don't even think are significant at all, yet they'll pop up suddenly and I'd remember some stuff about it.
In other situations, I just don't know how to forget things, I'll get into a fight with a friend and even though ages later everything is fine, I still can't forget some of the things that have happened. Friends keep telling me to "let go" but I have NO idea how to do that...does talking to the person who I haven't forgotten the situation for help?

I have stuttered for as long as i can remember. I have taken speech therapy lessons and even did a 3000 dollar for 3 day program. It taught me to take deep breaths and slow down. However lately nothing seems to be working.

My friend says that i have a lack of confidence, but that's because i stutter. And i can grantee you i would be very confident if i could speak fluently.

I am an actor...doing final year Theatre Studies. It pissed me off when i cant even read out the lines for some and for others i read well or perfectly....it makes no sense.

Now my latest ordeal is to try and prepare for a speech for English. Everyone will be all laxidasical about it while i will have to go over my speech for weeks in advance to have any hope of succession in saying it fluently. I was actually a finalist last year because i hardly stuttered at all and people finally know I'm not a complete moron.

Please, if stuttering effects confidence and visa verse...how the hell do i escape?

Any dream interpreters out there? I had a really odd one last night. A large tortoise would run and climb a tree really fast - get half way up and fall backwards landing on it's back and cracking it's shell. After it's second run and subsequent fall it apparently cracked its shell badly and I had the impression that it was fatally wounded. That's where the dream ended...with the tortoise on it's back. The tree that it was runing up was like a double tree - or two identical trees growing next to each other with very scaly bark. It was a big land tortoise, but had claws like a smaller turtle, I remember them scratching against the bark. Also - this is the best. It had a bumper sticker on its back that read "try me a hooters" - honestly, like you could get turtle at hooters or something. I couldn't possibly make this stuff up. The overall feeling was sad - I wanted to stop the turtle after it's first run but it was too big to stop.

his long lost He-Man toy figure!

I mentioned the story a few days ago about how he tried to "hide" it on me 20 years ago, dug a hole in our parents backyard, and ended up not being able to find it himself despite numerous digging attempts!

I brought it up in a joking fashion, yet he is determined to find it, claiming it is worth money nowadays ... however I think he may be psychologically ill and trying to settle a score of sibling rivarly.

What do you think?
