A thug is a bully, usually one who works for someone else to do their dirty work by beating up others. They get their name from a group from India long ago, named the Thugs.

Someone who's a criminal, violence, robbery, drugs. Most of the time it's applied to black men or white men who want to be black. Who fit the hip hop/rap style/stereotype. Fake thugs are guys who want people to think they're thugs but don't have the rap sheet to back up their claim.
