his long lost He-Man toy figure!
I mentioned the story a few days ago about how he tried to "hide" it on me 20 years ago, dug a hole in our parents backyard, and ended up not being able to find it himself despite numerous digging attempts!
I brought it up in a joking fashion, yet he is determined to find it, claiming it is worth money nowadays ... however I think he may be psychologically ill and trying to settle a score of sibling rivarly.
What do you think?

I think he thinks it could be worth something now and it still has meaning to him as well. I don't think there is anything psychologically wrong with him based on what you've mentioned here. I think he'd get a kick out of finding a long lost childhood toy. I would.

I don't believe he has a disorder.
If sibling rivalry is a disorder then we should all be locked up. :P
I once found a note in my family home that one of my brother's had hidden as well as other strange things. Cool stuff.

Maybe he just wants his damn toy back. Why assume it's metal illness? You're not qualified to make that determination, I bet no one on Yahoo can, seeing as how a psychiatrist is probably busy with patients, not dicking off on yahoo, and He-Man action figures are worth a little money, check EBay, retard. Your brother may have a mild case of OCD due to the fact that he is really determined to find his he-man after all this time. You may have a slightly more severe case of OCD just because you are so worried about trying to control and define your brother's actions.

interest perhaps um plastic wont corrode under floor purely in sunlight no longer something greater applicable to do...attempting to settle a score of sibling opposition..those to i think of hmm mid life disaster perhaps lol

maybe it is worth alot of money some old toys are maybe not like hundreds but thousands.. if thats the case i would be digging for it too. maybe he isnt mental maybe he is just short on cash. maybe you should talk to him about it ask to help him look ect. ask him y its so important to find it..

Sounds like schizophrenia, but go to a psychologist to get him evaluated. In this disease, the patient tends to remember old events like they just happened yesterday.
