I came across this really gross picture on the internet

http://www.snopes.com/photos/medical/breastrash.asp
Warning: LOOK ONLY IF YOU HAVE A STRONG STOMACH!

It's a fake picture and everything, but I find it interesting, and I keep looking at it. How can I stop myself?

Why is it that when gas prices are decreasing, they go down like 2 cents a week but when they are increasing, it goes up 20 cents every 3 days. When are we going to switch to some alternative fuel and stop relying on petroleum? What ever happened to hydro power. And please don't blame the cost per barrel because I heard that the US has about a 6 month supply of oil so gas shouldn't go up so quickly just because the cost per barrel went up.

I have a weird dream and it happened twice this consecutive past
nights. I was in my old university and I realized while walking alone I had no shoes on but I was dressed in a casual yet pretty way. Then somebody (a hazy classmate) frantically told me one of my friends is gunned down so I rushed to the hospital by running in my bare feet. I was conscious I had no shoes but people in the hospital didn't seem to mind. While waiting in the hall I was seated in a bench very worried my ex-boyfriend (in real life) sat beside me. We chatted and we were both worried and he didn't seem to notice too that I had no shoes on but I was very embarrassed. Then I woke up I told my sister about it and she said that's weird she also dreamt of my ex that same night.

The next night again I am shoe less and wearing a pretty dress while doing some Sunday groceries. What's the meaning there?

Because if there is, I think I have it. Seriously. I've had anxiety for like- forever. It reoccurs every once in a while, and I just get mild panic attacks. So, I don't know if this is some freakish part of growing up, but lately I've been freaking out about all of existance- and about life, and about why we're here, and about God- just all the big stuff involved with life-and the more I think about it, the more bugged out I get.

What should I do?

Does anyone else have this problem? Or, has had it in the past, maybe?

It seems that very many things cause a person to feel guilty. An expectant mother can have a miscarriage and feel guilt b/c she wonders if there's something she didn't do right during her pregnancy. A doctor/nurse/EMT may feel some guilt if a patient died in their care. Even a teacher can feel guilty if a student in his/her class got seriously hurt or killed by another student b/c she "missed the warning signs". Why are we often overcome by guilt in situations where, even when the worse happens, there's only so much we can do to help?

I've noticed - a lot of people seem awfully permissive with their children - resulting in a noticeble increase in rude, surly, ill-behaved children. I fear this doesn't bode well for our future (her in North America) - - I mean, I was beaten as a kid - as one of three boys to a single mother I suppose it was all she could do to gain the upper hand.. I certainly wasn't *ABUSED* - but the threat of corporal punishment was always there.. and I turned out alright (twitch-twitch).

what say you -?

I have been diagnosed with clinical depression. After hearing my family history, which included two depressed parents and a mother who drank and smoked weed while pregnant with me, and giving me nuerological tests, my doctor is pretty sure I am genetically predisposed to depression. I've tried therapy, but I didn't get anything from it. Talking it out doesn't make me feel any better. I've tried altering my behavior and taking up new activities, but nothing fulfills me. I am currently on medication, but it has side effects (insomnia, mood swings, nausea, headaches etc.) just like the three other meds I tried before it. I cannot recall anytime in my life when I considered myself happy and I spend most of my time in a state of total apathy.

Are people like me basically doomed to being unhappy and/or taking medication that may or may not work and has unpredictable side effects? I'd appreciate any thoughts and advice.

And if you read all this, thanks.

He constatly pokes me in the side because he knows how much I hate it and laughs...I need to get him back, but I don't want to hurt him, our property, or ruin anything, but i really wanna get him when he least expects it!

I am taking a class in feminism and it's not what you would call a male bashing class. We talk about everything from issues of gender, to race, to homosexuality across cultures and continents. Well somehow we got on the issue of war in class, and my Professor told us that women suffer the most from war. I believe that everyone suffers in a war, but I never really thought about it from a feminist perspective...because i've never really thought of myself as a feminist. Anyway, she says that women suffer rape, murder, and degradation during a war....and she quoted the whole concept of "to the victor goes the spoils." What do you think? Do you agree with her?

If you could only have one of these 3 things (love, wealth, fame) wich would u have? Think about it. If ur famous, everyone "loves" u, but it's not REAL love, and being famous can also get pretty hectic. If you are wealthy, then u can buy anything u want, but material possesions become "nothing" after a short while, and it doesn't fill "empty" spots in our hearts, and money & material possesions makes us happy for only a little while. Love from family and friends is what truly keeps us going when we're feeling down. Which one would u pick to help u feel better?? Choose wisely!!! :)

I'm an autistic myself. I believe neurodiversity is absoloutely wrong and they are doing the wrong thing to treat it. What they should do is have them to OPEN their eyes! (No Tom Cruise movies remark intended in each paragraph.)

I used my school and autism reports and since then have greatly improved. If you haven't heard, the person whom rainman was based on has become a social being.

Anyway, that's my opinion what's yours?
