I mean, when I'm drunk, I keep saying that I'm not.

Isn't there a possibility that I am crazy and not know it. Am I living in denial?

yes their is a big possibility, alot of crazy people don't admit that they are and aren't a aware of their craziness. Maybe you need to get some help or talk to a psychiatrist and then you'll have a better understanding of who you really are. Also, when people drink they can have alot of different personalities, your drunk you dont know what your doing or what your saying.

a lot of times they don't because yes they are in denial. some are lucky to have friends and family get them help. but a lot of mental illness patients have emotional protective mechanisms that keep them from seeing the truth about themselves. if you think there's a possibility that you might have a problem in some area, there are web sites you can go to and take quizzes and they are private. but be careful...a lot of them are run by drug companies and you know what that means. but it sounds to me like your gut is telling you something. there isn't the stigma to mental health there used to be and certainly they have better ways of treating it. good luck to you.

When someone is in a psychotic episode, usually they don't know it and they feel that their actions are rational. When the episode passes, which may take some time, they remember the things they did and know they weren't rational after the event.

So I suppose, philosophically speaking, yes, we could all be 'crazy' and that phase just hasn't passed yet!

Actually, psychotic people normally don't think of themselves as "crazy". They don't think they're delusional, because they think they have a good grasp on reality.

To people with mental problems, their perception is that what they think and feel is the truth, no matter what others may say.

Yes, you are. If you have to ask, then you are, that's a good benchmark.
