It seems that way. But there are more and more young people like this out there than there used to be. More needs to be done in the schools early on to foster acceptance of people who feel left out. Parents need to be warned when their children are having trouble fitting in. There needs to be a stop put to bullying.

We need to teach our own children why it is wrong to be ugly to other children. If something isn't done about these "loner" children early on, things are only going to get worse.

They don't need to be locked up... they just need to be socialized.

I'm was never really interested in being the life of the party... which is fine... but lacking that social butterfly gene has made me miss out on bits of life.... It doesn't hurt someone to know how to make small talk... and it really hurts not to know at all...

You are correct. While it is true that mass murderers almost always display those characteristics, it is also true that most of the people who display those characteristics are not mass murderers.

While such information may be useful it is not conclusive.

That's realyl hard to say.. I would say, there is ALWAYS the possibility of them being potential killesr, but I wouldn't generalize and say that's the rule.

No, they are not. The media is just trying to make a complicated situation simplistic. The makings of a mass murderer are more complicated than they can comprehend.
