Yes, if it has an adverse affect on your work, then you can apply for Social Security Disability, If you do apply, be prepared to wait for months to hear back from them, It is a long process but it's worth it when you can't work anymore.

Yes you can. Disabililty Living Allowance (get the form from social security), Housing Benefit (form from local Housing office), Incapacity if you are unable to work, or if you are able to work to an extent then Income Support (Job Centre Plus). If you are a student then there is Disabled Students Allowance.

If benefits are: being out of control with extreme mood swings, thinking your a super hero that no one can touch, being paranoid of every one around you and not sleeping for days, then crashing down to such a depression that u can't go on......then ya, i can see where there would be benefits

Yes but why would someone want to? The meds along with therapy make it possible to live a normal life and contact with other people is essential along with the need to feel normal. Work is therapeutic.

Probably but true bi-polars dont need benefits. They just come up with a world beating franchised money making scheme or invent a satelite launching system using string and elastic bands.

Yes in certain ways, if you are Diganosed with the disease then yea, however if you do not have the disease then it is not a good idea to want to be on 'benifits' the goal is to get off of them, not on em!
