well,if i feel like i have done something wrong with myself and nobody knows it except GOD i turn to GOD TO FORGIVE ME FOR THAT.IF HE forgives me,i forgive myself.
i am sure that GOD IS MERCIFUL,HE FORGIVES if we beg forgiveness with the truth of heart.SO i become contented, secondly i make a firm descision in my mind that i will not commit this sin or mistake in future, this is how i can forgive myself.
if i do bad to someone else ,i can forgive myself only when if that person forgives me.so i usually beg apology myself to the person i am guilty of ,to forgive myself and to be contented
this is how i forgive myself and sooth my heart and soul

You can't. Most people excuse themselves (make up excuses for why they did it) but you can't forgive yourself. That's why you need a savior. That's why Jesus came, and died, because you were going to need a savior. In 2007. The first step is repentance, and even that is a gift from God; sounds like you have the gift. Next is to talk to Jesus and ask His payment to cover your mistake(s). When you feel His true fogiveness flood through you, you will automatically forgive yourself. When you blow it again, go straight to Jesus and ask again, along with asking for help to prevent reoccurance. And He will always forgive . He told His followers to forgive each-other 70 x 7 times; to uneducated fishermen that seemed I'm sure like infinity, which was His point. He will forgive you that many times (infinity), if you come back to Him, with the desire to change your behavior. And each time you will get stronger, until you no longer continue to fall in that problem area anymore. Some people call that spiritual breathing - breathe out the prayer of repentance, breathe in His forgiveness.

For me it is as simple as asking God to forgive me for whatever, and then I forgive myself. If God is able to forgive me, I have no problem forgiving myself. And I simply move on with the new found knowledge. When necessary, I apologize to those I have offended with a sincere and heart felt apology. Many times the apology is the most difficult part. However this is the beginning of self forgiveness for me. I learn from every mistake, ensure myself to never repeat it again. It is called life. God bless****

Just realise that we all make mistakes and that if we didn't how would we ever learn?

Just know that no one is perfect and learn by what you have done to need to ask yourself for forgiveness, put your wrongs right if you can, if not let them go and don't live your life by what has happened.

I wish I knew, I constantly give myself goals that are unachievable, these are not acchieved partly due to my health problems. My wife says I'm constantly torturing myself for the non achievements. I don't mean in a self harm way, just by not letting myself have things or do things. It seems to have worked in a strange way however, I don't owe anybody any money and I have a great family, house, children, cars etc.

I tell you what I forgive myself NOW for doing all this to myself and for achieving what I have achieved.

Do you know by typing this I actually feel better. Many thanks for that. :-)

Have a great day.

I forgive myself by knowing that everyone can go wrong.
This is the condition that makes me forgive everyone, too.
And then I just keep an open heart and good will to try doing better next time.
