Effort 99% and Luck 1% mostly.
But there is a chance of loosing the success with out that 1% of Luck.
Here 'Luck' can be defined like, the unknown reason that helped a lot for us to put the thing in the way we wish.

Ah..well I actually don't have alot of success at much. Probably because I don't use *any* effort. So what few successes I do have are attributed to chance. Like I got to level 70 in world of warcraft the other day. That was mostly luck because as luck would have it, my guild needed a paladin for raiding and carried me through all the instances I wanted. So yeah...luck is cool. Effort is overrated.

It's all about effort! Luck is just something people made up to explain why crappy things happen, and good things come out of no where...when, infact, that is just how life works. You have to have will power, yes. If you give SOME effort but don't press yourself to give it your all...you won't get desired results. I don't know the percentage but...that is how I figure it works. Good luck!

Both nearly always apply and the degree of difficulty is determined both by the obstacles of your circumstances and the ability to overcome them . Any attributes as will power or expertise can assist your chances but I'm sure there is no one set of percentages because everyone's abilities and circumstances usually will differ. My mother always used to say where there is a will there is a way but I prefer a good analytical mind imagination intuition and general knowledge.

There's no such thing as luck. If you think positive then positive things will happen to you. If you think negatively then the black cloud will follow you around.
It's all will and mind power.
