I've known him for 10 years, He does graphic design as a hobby and im into art so we talk. I think i was naive in talking with him, hes not a professional designer, he works as a salesman and does his design for fun.. Well he gave me his card and told me to check out his webpage with his work.. I went to his webpage and there was an image of a girl there in a negative photo affect- distorted- VERY CREEPY,, i got a terrible feeling.. i didnt email him or anything.. ever since then i have been avoiding him like the plague, if i see him i just say hi and run, i could tell he knows something is up with me,, am i overreacting here?

I am more than embarrassed to admit that it has been over 7 years since my divorce, and have lived every day since agonizing over the loss of my ex. The pain is more severe now that I am no longer numbing myself with drugs. I've been clean for 4 months now and each day I wake up ends up being worse than the day before. I relive memory after memory..over and over again...how much he truly loved me...how I could have ever left him...how much love I feel for him and how I am to forgive myself for ever taking him for granted. I am stuck in the past. I have dream at night that he is still with me and wake up alone and crying. My depression and anxiety are so bad now that I rarely leave my house. I can't work...I've isolated myself from friends and family for years now. I feel somehow that I was NOTHING before his love, and am now NOTHING without his love. I am a shell of a person. I pray that some compassionate person out there can give me advice on how to lessen my pain. Please

As a student wanting to be a leader on this campus, why is being a leader important to you?

As a student wanting to be a leader on this campus it is important to me because, I feel that in the future it will give me a good chance at accomplishing goals and being involved with the write crowd. I want to be willing to take that chance and to be able to reach out to the student body and to represent them. I have the urge to help them and lead them into doing the write things instead of being pressured by other students in to doing the wrong things such as drugs etc. Leading them onto the write path would make me feel more secure knowing that they are enjoying themselves, meeting more people, and being able to attend a safe campus. It is also important for me, to be able to know that they have someone in there life that they can look up to. If I were to be accepted as a student leader I know that more responsibilities will come my way and that I will have to take charge of my life. I als

I know this sounds crazy but....I realized that sometimes that i hear voices in my head. but it is my voice and it is more than one most of the times its three voices. One is like me thinking about all the things i need to changed in my life and the other two are me like putting myself down with negative comments and things of that matter. Is this like multiple personality thing or what is it called and should i be worried about this?

I'm 19 years old, and now that I'm an adult, I really want to make the most out of my life. I want to travel the world, I want to volunteer abroad in poverty-stricken countries, I want to partake in thrilling pursuits like mountain climbing & skydiving and many other interesting things. The only problem is... my mother is against my desire to live life to the fullest. I know I'm her "baby" and she can't stand to let me go. I've always PROVEN myself to be a levelheaded person, though. Even though I don't live with her, she calls me everyday and panics if I don't call her for a day or two from home. She visits frequently - about weekly. (I live 20 miles away) What gets me is that she said if I were ever to do any of the above, she would disown me, as it would be to "painful" for her if I happened to die or get hurt. She says the only way she'd accept it is if I had a child.

I know that's a rather question, but some of us are completely confused about how we look. Sometimes I look in the mirrors and I look really good (I wasn't drunk, lol), and other time, I think I look like road kill. What gives?

How do I measure my true "beauty"? I don't have to walk around asking everyone regarding how I look now, do I?

Just wondering, some wimmen on here seem to have a low opinion of Ann Coulter, including me, but I'm not sure why. Of course, anyone who has a problem with strong women is a misogynist, so obviously she's not a strong woman, so let's run through the criteria as extolled on here before shall we:

* Emotionally strong, able to emotionally defend herself - Well she has a potty mouth and apparently "loves to pick fights with liberals":

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2002/07/19/wmed19.xml

Also, she doesn't take any bull from men, she recently called a presidential candidate a mean name..

* Independent and supports herself - Well she has a law degree and has worked as a law clerk, litigator and on the Senate Judiciary Committee. She is single.

Of course, she doesn't like feminists very much, but we all it's not whether you toe the feminist party line that makes a woman strong or not is it? HAHAHA. Don't make me laugh.

So what is the reason she is not a strong woman

I am NOT sexist, I just state my beliefs.

I seriously do not understand why girls get so offended. Being called a man is actually a compliment to me. For hundreds of years the world has been dominated by men and it has only been a short period of time since woman were given rights. For me, being called a man mean I have the strong will and nature of a man. It is actually good because I can stand for what I believe in and still have strength. Some girls just say NO I'M A GIRL!! I honestly don't understand that.

And also, since women have been advancing in these past years, calling a guy girly also clasifies as a compliment. A guy is being compared to the women of the world and considering how now 60% of colleges are filled with woman, that means the man is smart and strong inside...

In reality, to men seriously like women who are sticks? Is not the point of being a woman to have fat on her; her breasts, her thighs, her bottom, etc?

Why does society and media look down upon women who are bigger? Not only does this happen to older females but also to younger ones.

So a few days ago me and this girl I reallllly like had this big drama thing going and suffice it to say I asked her out and she just wanted to be friends. But when I say wanted to be friends, I wasn't talking about normal I just want to be friends that guys and girls normally do to say "I'm not interested, leave me alone". Like we were getting to be good friends before and now we hang out like everyday lol. When we're alone or around others its great and we have fun and its playful and normal. But she doesn't want to do some things like go see a movie my friend and her friend (who are dating) want to check out but its more of a chick flick and it would be just the 4 of us, which is understandable, she doesn't want to hang out with the four of us to just hang out, we always need to be doing something or going somewhere. She seems uncomforable depending on what we do as a group and its understandable because some times I feel like that, but how can i make her more comfortable around me?
