I told him no. i can't see myself falling in love. like real true love. i don't know if it's possible with a broken heart.

You don't want to now, especially if the pain is fresh, but time heals all wounds, and one day you will be ready to let somebody else in, and will learn to trust and to love. In the meantime, you just have to love yourself and love life.

This is a trite expression but true - time does heal all wounds. The further away from something we get the less it hurts. At some point in the healing process you will be wanting to move ahead & you'll know it when you find yourself being attracted to someone else.
