We were married for 5 years at the time he was diagnosed with an advanced stage of cancer. It wasn't terminal but we were told the journey to get him better was going to be a very lond one. When I found out I totally lost it and I know it was extremely wrong of me but I left him because I didn't think I could deal with the disease and how it'd affect my life.He didn't have any other family so I did feel very guilty but I didn't feel like I had a choice but to leave him. It's been 2 years and he's in remission.I want a second chance so badly. He treated me like a queen throughout the whole time we've been together and I still love him as much as ever.He won't even look me in the eye let alone consider getting back together. What do I do?

I feel like I'm in a rut. I work 50 hours a week come home to an empty apartment and every time I try and talk to girls they treat me like crap. Either by just ignoring me,using me for their own personal gain, or by saying that I'm just a friend. I'm always just a friend never anything more. I feel like I'm gonna snap at the next girl who treats me like crap. It seem like I'm on the bad end of the stick with women. I have hatred towards women and I can't seem to get rid of it. What do I need to do? I feel so hopeless. Like trying to get womens attention will just lead me to being another "friend." Sorry if this is long I'm just at the end of my rope with this whole love thing.

i keep thinking that im hallucinating but i know im not. its like i see thoughts in my mind (like most people do) but i don't see them outside of my mind like a real hallucination. but they make me panic i know my thoughts in my head are not real but i get confused and worried about it.
ive seen one of the best psychologists in the industry he has diagnosed me with ocd and he said i have nothing to worry about. i am not hallucinating because i can tell the difference between reality and my head.
but the fact that my mind makes me panic makes me think im hallucinating is really scary.
any advice????

I want to be a doctor when I grow up but right now I am only 17...... Is medical school really hard? Is it really stressful? Do you have to study all the time? and is it really fun being a doctor or very stressful? And do you ever get to have enough time to hang out with friends and family?

I'm terribly overwhelmed at this point in my life. I've been depressed and lonely for and incredibly long time. I've seen counselors and tried anti-depressants and exercise and better dieting, and sleeping, and staying busy, and reading.. I've sought God. Nothing really changes. I'd shoot myself in a heart beat if it wouldn't hurt the people I care about. It's like I was born missing the part of the human spirit that wants to live. Is there any hope?

There was a time when agriculture, animal hunting and forestry was the lively hood of the people in India and elsewhere in the world. There after, invention of wheel, steam engine, electricity etc paved the way for industrialisation around the world. India equally started industries with the help of the-then British merchants thereafter turned rulers.
The produce from the farm sector like cotton, jute and sugarcane etc. was being turned into commodities for human consumction and well being. Till to-day our garments are made of cotton - also other varities are there. Agriculture welcomed the industry to see a better use of the crops.
When forests and waste lands are protected by law for reason of ecology, industry may not find a place on the earth if land is not provided. The buzz word should be "less land and more crop" - this is quite possible if more advanced technique is brought into farms. Will power and attitude of the Asian giant China have shown the modern .

I'm speaking in the mental sense, not the physical.

We can begin with defining maturity. What is maturity? The dictionary term is "The state or quality of being fully grown or developed." But how does one decide who's truly developed, mentally?

I have a female boss who's in her 40's who presents herself as incredibly mature and brilliant. But behind closed doors, she lies, is very deceptive, and basically acts like a child who craves more power and will do anything to avoid being seen as done something wrong, even when she makes huge mistakes. She acts exactly like the men she hates and doesn't even realize it. You never know when she's telling the truth or lying.

I, and many others, could have sworn she was the most mature woman we ever met, until we saw how she really is.

These situations show me that many women who aren't mature, seem to be able to present themselves as extremely mature, but that doesn't mean they actually are. Society then just believes what it sees.

I am very very sick. I am very sensitive, and have a hard time dealing with horrible things happening to other people. I read a story a little while ago about what happened to Christopher Barrios the kintergarder that was abducted. I now can't sleep want to throw up and cry, and feel helpless because I can't do anything to change what happened to him. I really want to rid the world of horrible people but know it is impossible. What can I do to make a difference, to keep make the world safer for everyone?

Why do we always forget things?

How do you prevent forgeting something, formulas, shapes ect.

I have been doing problems a lot!! after a couple months I forgot to do the problems, and it sometimes come to memory.

Why do we forget, when we have been practicing doing the same stuff over.

Is it the best way to not forget is to live through ecperiences???

It's just a word until it is put into action. Such a simple thing can destroy even the strongest of friendships, loves, and bonds that connect all of us and make us human. But doesn't the capability to betray also make us human? Does the fact that we are human and can make such mistakes excuse our actions?

How is it that we can act out of selfish desires and not even consider everyone around us, whether it affects them or not?

There are so many unanswered questions floating around in my head. Most are about me, but the rest focus on the people closest to me. Have they made the right choices? Where do I fit in to all of this?

It's weird to feel so lost for so long and think you've found your way just to have everything ripped out from underneath you. And then you realize, you've always been lost, you just thought you found the path, but it was only a shadow.

As I lay in Future Park earlier today, I felt as if the whole world was looking down upon me and judging me. What is she doing with her life? Why can't she see in the dark like so many of us pretend to do? Then I answer back in my head, I'm just trying to live. I'm trying to make it through each day without giving up. I don't want to pretend because then I might actually start to believe I can see where I'm going.

The sun is filtered by the branches of a tree, making awkward shadows that dance across my face in the wind. I look up at the sky and almost start to cry like my best friend had been doing for hours. Like I had been for hours. Like I wanted to so badly. But I held my tears in because I had to be strong. I had to be strong for everyone. They need me. They count on me to be there for them when I can't even be there for myself, and yet I do it anyway because if I don't, then who will?

Does anyone else ever act completely different from whats going on in their head all the time? At school my guidance counselor comes up to me sometimes and wants to talk and in my head im like go away you annoying old bag but outwardly im polite to him. Then yesterday someone was like come play hacky sack with us and since he insisted i was like well ok i guess but inside i was like **** you for bothering me i dont really wanna. Then I had to do service hours and the lady at the retard camp was like o thank you so much and i said thank you but in my head i thought shut up i dont care i hate your retarded *** kid and im only here because i need service hours.
