I mean a movie or show can show long scenes of horrific violence but to dedicate the same time and detail to the greatest act of love is taboo.....

Having a longer show of violence on movie screens does not mean that we glorify it, but rather to emphasize the gory scenes for cinema effects only.
On the other hand sex in movies are govern by local laws and censorship. So, there is time limit for it.
In either case, both needs proper ratings to restrict viewers.

You need to ask the censors about that. Notice there are xxx ratings only for sexually graphic, explicit movies, but violence merely rates an R no matter how graphic. Besides, love stories don't make as much money as socially irredeemable violence can.

...Remember we are born in a world of sin.........in a world that promotes or teaches jealousy and hate makes it easy to look at the horrific things that's put out because it goes with that evil side of each one of us...............love is taboo cause we are selfish.....we can't love anybody more then we love our self...... and if you do not have the love to die for,... then you have nothing, not even for your wife, kids, or parents.......to give you an example of the type of love that is needed........these people say they will die for people that they do not know........solider, police, fireman,....these men love not only their country, but the people that live in it....unconditional...parents now day don't even have unconditional love for their kids.....they love them as long as they are not an embarrassment.

well i think it's because most teens wont go out of their houses with a machete and start a massacre but its easy for them to get into intercourse.
