what does this mean to you? should people take responsibility for their own actions or should outside forces take responsibility? think about it. who's trying to convince you to do what especially in today's world. does fear play a part?

As a transit planner, you must predict how many people ride commuter trainess and how much money is generated from train fares. According to a a recent study , the short run price elasticity of demand for a commuter rail is .62 and the long run elasticity is 1.59. The current ridership is 100,000 people per day. Suppose fares increase 10%.

Predict or tell me the changes in train ridership over a one month period(short run) and a five year period ( long run)?

Over the one-month period , will total revenue increase or decrease? what will happen in the five year period.?

Use the Price elasticity of Demand Elasticity of demand= Percentage change in quantity demanded/(diveded by) percentage change in price.

Im feeling somewhat depressed....Im very lonely ever since I broke up with my boyfriend almost a year ago and everyone around me seems to be getting married, which just makes it worse. It gets to the point where I think it has to do with the way I feel about myself. I shouldnt be so upset about being single, right? Im looking for a good book, something motivational, to help me with my outlook on life....any suggestions?

A girl in my grade hates my guts. She and her sidekick are constantly pushing me around and saying and doing mean things to me. They turned at least 5 of my friends against me and are constantly criticizing me. I have a feeling that they are jealous and I honestly do not know what to do! I try not to let them see that they're bothering me, but I have held it up for so long that yesterday I cried. I feel bullied and alone, and to make matters worse it was my first year at my new skin and I don't think I can take this much longer. I don't know what to do she's making me feel terrible about myself!

I remember being told when I was little that if you are right or left handed you have different brain traits. I.e. if you are left hand dominated you use your left side of your brain and you are more creative. Is there any truth to this? Could somebody explain this in greater detail about the left and right side of the brain? Also I'm in the process of learning Italian (I'm studying abroad) and I am also in the process of learning to write just as well with my right hand as my left (in some ways I'm ambidextrous). Is it possible to be able to write with both hands simultaneously in two different languages (i.e. writing with your left hand in English and your right hand in Italian at the same time)? I was told that we all have the capacity of being a genius like Einstein if we just push ourselves. Thanks for your time.

I know that there's a PhD and a PsyD and if I remember correctly there's another one too. If anyone knows the differences between those two (in terms of requirements in order to obtain one and responsibilities/abilities once obtaining one) and perhaps remembers the other one that would be very helpful.

I join everyclub possible. Have a lot of " friends," but few true. The people that aren't my friends want to see me fall. I have done nothing to them, but I don't know how to let them not get to me all at once. It's just hard when they're around you all the time in school.

You still believe in your cause but see it is going nowhere; you are standing on crumbling ground and need to get to safety. Where do you look for your safe ground? In an obvious place like retreat or do you simply alter your stance? If so, how...with what tactic?
