Some people would say dieing.

I just hope that when I die that I die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather did, not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car!

I totally agree that there is no general answer but, very selfishly, I suggest that I would rather be Mr. Reeves, as he was recently, or as he is, than mentally ill.

I have bi polar disorder. I'm suicidal most of the time and have situations where I have two loaded insulin syringes under my skin and don't push for fear my youngest daughter would imitate me (she tried to kill herself once). I've been there at least six times and dreaded waking up all mornings. Even when I feel good I fear "When today will the depression hit? I'm totally pessimistic and want to be dead.

I'm intelligent and well informed and well educated. I've forgotten much more than most people ever know and my memories are all still there but jumbled like knotted string and I can't find the lose end.

With all this I am still a compassionate man and "took under my wing" a very young lady in distress. She has acute schizophrenia.

I now feel quite lucky.

Technically, there is no worse. It all depends on preference of what you presume to be the worst. For example: A christian could say going to hell is the worst thing that can happen to a person. But a Satanist and an Athiest would greatly disagree with the christian.

I think the worst thing that can happen to a person would be to think that life has no meaning or purpose because no matter how bad things get, there's still beauty and meaning to be revealed.

So as long as you're reading my answer--may you always be aware and awake to find the blessing in each situation, or at least trust that there is a blessing even if it's not revealed at this time.

I believe that the worst thing that can happend to someone is to loose the faith, no matter what you had gone thru the faith will keep you moving and to realize that everything happends for a reason and that nothing is as bad if hope is there and the opportunity to take advantage of a new day.

Life is bautiful!.

If a parent it would be a child. If a child it would be a parent or maybe a brother or sister. If you were married and had no children it would probably be your spouse. If single, it would be, if you were totally alone. Life is the inter actions of love, and if not able to love you would have the worse thing that could happen.

I think perhaps being left on this planet and being the last person alive. I suppose if you were a hermit though it would not matter. Perhaps winning a billion dollars in the lottery and it takes you half an hour to get to the bank, but the doctor just told you that you only have fifteen minutes to live, that would be a real bummer.

They could get paralysed, have body parts amputated, or they could get sever brain damage and end up as a vegetable for the rest of there life. Those 3 things scare the hell out of me.
