I've always wondered this.

The idea that there are unused portions of your brain is misleading information. Often you will hear that we only use 10% (not sure where dude pulled the 27% from) of our brain. In actuality we are using all of our brain but often times only a small percentage at any given time. When you are awake you use a different part, when you are happy, when you are thinking, when you are hot, when you are meditating, when you are sleeping....all different parts of the brain, not being used at the same time per say, but all being used.
Believe me...any one part of your brain gets zapped by a stroke, and somethings gonna stop working...and you aren't gonna like it. The deepest darkest most mysterious part...your gonna know if it goes dead suddenly....and it will be bad.
Don't get me wrong....I dig the notion that the brain is capable of extrordinary powers that we have not yet tapped, but basing it on the idea that we aren't "using that part of the brain" is just not feasible.

Considering the most intelligent of humans uses no more then 27% of their brain, yes, I believe the chance is there that we can unlock abilities like ESP, or others. We use less then 1/3 of our brain and are capable of the things we have done, what would it be like if we used 50% or more? Think about that.

do you mean abilities as in super powers? if that part of the brain is unused then how can it contain anything? well i think i get it and i agree, but i'm still not exactally sure what you mean. but if i'm right then yes i agree with you!

i haven't any desire to stroll on water or turn water into wine. I do relish Jesus's present of healing yet i've got faith we are already able to serious such things as that. all of us have the information yet quite some persons do no longer paintings on them or perhaps nicely known the possibility.
