Please help me, alcohol poisoning?!!!!?
i think my boyfriend might have alcohol poisoning. he's 6'3" about 180 lbs and he had about 10 shots of vodka maybe more. he's been throwing up for the past 4 hours. he's now throwing up brown stuff and i have no idea what that could be so if anyone knows please tell me. i dont know what to do to help him. im not sure if it is alcohol poisoning or just a hangover...
also he never drinks so the alcohol has affected him alot. he isnt passed out or anything just throwing up. he doesnt have any food on his stomach either....
ive tried to get him to drink some water and he absolutely will not listen to me. someone please tell me what to do.

10 shots = drunk, probably a BAC of 0.18 - 0.22, depending on other factors. Alcohol poisoning? If you're puking, you have some level of alcohol poisoning. Life threatening? Most likely not.
Permanent physical damage and/or death don't typically occur until you get into the 0.35 - 0.40 range.
Just keep offering water, he won't feel better until he can rehydrate himself. Oh yeah, and he's going to feel like dog turds tomorrow.
BTW, how old are you guys . . . 15???

get food into him
it will soke up some of the alchol and help it get out or through him. Penutbutter and bread are good. Also juce or water. he will throw up a bunch more times but each time he does feed him more of it. if he is as completely gone as you say he is then lay him in the bathroom and make sure he can breath. That means laying him on his side so that when he throws up his airway is clear. stay with him and think about maybe calling 911

and after this acute situation is over, dont think its ok for him to use alcohol again. Ask him to work with this issue tell him you must live him else.
Alcholism is a deadly disease for some persons.
chances are, I should say 70-700% your, dependent, boyfiend belongs to that group.

If the brown stuff resembles coffee grounds then its digested blood and he likely won't stop vomiting on his own. His esophagus will burn like lava if it goes on too long. He should go to the E.R. before he becomes to weak and symptomatic to tell them everywhere he hurts.

Call 911 and tell them the same thing you just told us. Even if you are underage, 911 is better than letting your friend die!

TAKE HIM TO THE HOSPITAL!! HE NEEDS HELP IMMEDIALTY. BEFORE ANYTHING GETS WORST. AND MAKE SURE NEXT TIME HE DRINKS NOT TO DRINK SO MUCH. MAYBE THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE HE NEEDED TO LEARN.

AS LONG AS HE HASN'T PASSED OUT AND IT IS COMING OUT OF HIM HE WILL BE OK .THAT BROWN STUFF IS ACID.
