My class is having a debate and I'm on the con side. CON: You feel the number of Americans living in poverty is too high. You are against tax cuts for the wealthy and do not see how it is used to help the poor. You support an increase in funding for assistance programs that may mean higher taxes or reducing spending in other ways. That is what con means according to our teacher. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. I just need facts to support the con opinions.

I just read an article that stated statistics with regard to womens labor force participation. It states that one in four women are home raising their children until the age of 18. It states that one in three women are home with children under six. My question is do you think this is true or am I interpreting something wrong. I do not know any women at home with children between the ages of 6-18 and only a handful with children under three? I thought the statistics would be very different. Apparently one in ten women are lifetime homemakers!! This sounds nuts. I do not know any homemakers. I would have guess one women in 200 is home with a child up to 18 or less...??? WHAt do you think ?

POSER
show interest...

delve into the region of sensibility..

trigger a sense of appreciation..

stretch the veil of security...

pierce into it..

bleed unto it .......

trip into the mind...

set the mood...

twist the heart and

set it on fire..

then..

slowly slowly...

diffuse ..

till everything's gone..

and you're left empty

because all is merely an illusion...

such is what a poser does.

I can see some of the positive implications for the long-term economy. But at the same time, by holding the rates steady even though we don't have inflation completely under wraps, isn't the Fed in a sense almost implying that the economy currently isn't too stable, and perhaps even a little bit fragile? Wouldn't any stock market investors take it to mean that the Fed doesn't want to raise rates any more to keep inflation in better check because we are already at risk of going into a recession and raising rates, even slightly, will increase that risk even more?

I'm a very introverted, introspective person.

People have told me that i need to find a dynamic extrovert as a mate. Although sometimes I find quieter men attractive, because they seem sensitive and on my wavelength...

Is it true that people who are quiet need people who will ''break them out of their shell?''

Question 5:
Your best friend is buried in a coffin, and ground water is seeping in fast. The only man who knows where he/she is, happens to be a madman. Guys: He will tell you where he/she is if you castrate yourself with a small razor blade. Girls: You must cut off your nipples and use a nail clipper to mutilate your genitals. The damage cannot be fixable for either.

Is friendship worth it? The choice is yours. Choose wisely.

I feel as if I am hard done by today - exhausted. My day began with taking my lazy dog for a twenty minute walk. Coming home and tidying a three bedroom bungalow top to bottom. Waiting for a Joiner to do alterations. Went to library and bank and quick shop. Made endless cups of tea and done endless dishes for all and sundry. Made stir fry and bbq ribs for lunch for two people. Fed dog twice also and endless bowls of water. Tidied up shavings etc., from joiner and polished and vac bedroom again. Hung new curtains and changed furniture around in bedroom. Made dinner for one (bloke) and took endless phone calls - this is all what comes to mind. Oh I even picked a can up off the drive and re-cycled it. My guy comes home and thats about 2pm and says he is tired (politely). Oh yes and I took delivery of a TV and placed it where I want it. Did he get up to help in any of these - what do you think he is a man. Supper to do yet for him and tomorrow I am babysitting my sons house.
