By the unhappy and smirky looks on your avatar face you have chosen for yourself, it seems like you are indeed the one waiting.
It is probable then that opportunity is waiting.
Do not create too many hurdles for yourself in this opportunity.
Maybe the hurdles are what halts you from opportunity.

The final test to the next stage of life. Life is a circle, it doesn't end it just changes from our perception of life.
The only thing that is temporary is our bodies.
Peace.

I would answer your question this way
Often people gage there lives and happiness on the pursuit of a goal or goals ... and in that quest you are either moving towards the completion of your goals or away from it (there is no standing still) ... so, in that context, waiting is moving further away from the goals you have set for yourself in your life

This life is but a mist, and what is waiting for all those who accept Jesus Christ (God's Son) as their savior is beyond anything the human mind can fathom.
1 Corinthians 2:9
However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"

The journey IS the destination. It's not about where you are at the end, it's about how you got there, what you saw along the way and how much fun the road trip was.

Well I believe in God and know that when my earthly body expires, I know that my soul will enjoy eternal life in Heaven. If you don't believe then I believe that nothing waits for you when you die.
