I have basically one real friend, who still has some issues sometimes, my dog is the most loyal companion I have, and I hang out with my dad more than anyone..I feel extremely lonely sometimes. I feel unloved..hate to complain, just feeling numb is all.

I am really puzzled by IQ tests. I normally come at the bottom of the scale, despite my academic achievements (I have a Ph.D)
Could it be that IQ tests focus excessively on spatial and mathematical abilities?
I suffer from discalculia. My inability to solve mathematical problems has never been a real obstacle, I simply chose to investigate a field that requires a completely different set of abilities.
As to my inability to read maps...I guess i am in good company as most of my female friends are just as bad.

Recently I saw a TV programme about Savants (exceptionally gifted people).
Some of them were Autistic, others had accidental brain dammage.
It seems that many famous people have had mental defects of one kind or another

i'm feeling suicidal
and
YES i'm ambivalent about doing it. (hence, the asking)

right now, i'm just waiting for anything/someone to push the right button before my bubble bursts.

antidepressants aren't working, my therapist is on vacation, i'm tired of calling the crisis line and i haven't made new friends since i moved to this place (america)... this list could go on forever but i could not put my pain into words.

i want to die.

I mean like finding your
Power Animal. I'm Curious cause my Aunt knows someone who can do that. I want to know what its like and if I'm okay doing it.

I've seen many complaints from the answering community in this section about male coworkers/superiors making passes at them, and then trying to punish them when they inevitably get told off.

The question remains, why are those that take advantage of this situation to better themselves frowned down upon? Is it not empowering to use someone else for your own gains rather than being used for anothers?

It is really affecting my willingness to learn. She is extremely mean and cruel. I asked her if she would like to talk with me face to face because I suspected she had something personally against me. We met, she gave me a load of bs and the next day she gave me hell and every other day I had her for class. She talks about me indirectly to other students when I am standing right there...should I confront her again or should I just let her treat me like s--t because she has power over my grade. She's really getting to me and my integrity and honor about myself is on the line. I hate how this country works! Coporate leaders with power abuse it and the ones below have the tolerate it. But, for how long?

If a woman has a baby, doesn't want it, leaves it somewhere. The woman is never found, and the baby goes to an orphanage. The baby goes from one foster home to another and is never adopted. NO ONE knows who the mother or father are. How does the baby get named? What last name does the baby get?

I am not talking about "John Doe", "Jane Doe" or "Baby Doe", I am talking about once the kid gets into school, but never has any parents.

Some people out there are suffering tremendously. While some of them seem to be "obsessed and in love" with their suffering, most of them aren't. In fact, they would do anything to stop hurting.

It's true that there are some kind-hearted people who are willing to help, to listen, and to support those who are in great suffering. Unfortunately, however, some people's pain are just way too "unbearable" ... so overwhelming that the only way to end this is to take one's own life.

This isn't true for all cases though. Some can and will recover from this (depression or some kind of terminal illness). These lucky people can and will be able to work things out and move forward. ON THE OTHER HAND, there are some people who just can't do anything to stop hurting.

I really want to know why do we refuse to let them do it - why can't we let them die if there's nothing that we can do to help them?

America better look behind that phony smile she is wearing and phony fur-sod she is putting on which, will all be gone if she wins the election.
