Freud had a definition for it, but i think people use it without knowing his theory.
And btw, Freud is dead and we have other theories supported by statistic studies.

Question is this: How is every individual who troubles to answer, feeling Viscerally, he/she is doing?
We know so little of what happens personally, in a small scale, what we are doing or feeling about issues, one another - being that great distances separate us.
Therefore, we rely on the impersonal, remote information, which treats people in the world through the Large scale. We learn very little of the individual, distances away . . yet these individuals, are not forgotten, simply we are left with no real comment made by them.
Sitting here at my desk, in a State of our Union, it comes to mind - how fresh an idea it is to be given an opportunity to ask Something of the world. Whether to those near or far!
If interested in relating how, what you are doing - what is your life like; Anywhere, Everywhere, I'd much appreciate a response.
Communication, being the Main Tie that BONDS, may bond further, through the distances, than silence or what the media Chooses to offer!
I am in Earnest!

Hoping someone can just give me some words of encouragement. I am struggling to deal with a guy i sit next to at work who i thought was interested but it hasn't worked out. He still plays mind games w/me and i ignore him. Plus another girl at work is harassing me and making my life miserable cause she is jealous of my work performance. I've had a relapse of bulimia which hasn't been a problem 4 me 4 8 yrs. Plus my stepdad is dying of brain cancer. i don't want to go out and meet people for fear i'll be used and played again. and i am so depressed. i am under a dr's care, taking medicine, etc., but hoping to get a word or two of encouragement from anyone out there whose been through this stuff.... thank you.

I would think an Entrepreneural opportunity has come about to adapt the women's Hijab for all sports not just soccer ? Imagine a pretty but modified safe Hijab for ballet or figure skating and the financial opportunity this would bring for muslim women.

Limiting the purpose of the Hijab becomes an infringement to childrens' liberties and freedom because not all kids want to settle for the inexpensive sport of soccer, some wish to do so much more...

I think the Hijab s pretty lets make it work for all sports.

My guess is it is because there is a need to consolidate and project power. This reminds me of the Black / Afro-American (we want it all but please don't send us back to africa studies) Green revolution that is now happening(the I hate people, lets stop every thing people do party) or the grow your hair long and smoke a reefer studies of the late 70's(damn those French hippys !)... any group that desires power and control has a "studies" at college/university. I think I'll start the white (excuse me...european American) disaffected sarcastic poor males studies...

When I go shopping for myself.. I feel bad. I feel guilty when I buy myself expensive things. I don't know why. I don't have bills to pay (still live at home). Even the littlest thing - such as lip gloss I feel bad for. Example: I refuse to buy myself perfume but I have no problem buying other people perfume/cologne. I feel good when I buy other people expensive things though. I want to want to pamper myself and take care of myself without feeling bad. How do I do this? And is it normal to feel that way? Does this happen to anyone else?

Ok what does it mean when you are having intercourse with your partner and you guys either:

Hold eye contact for 10 seconds and you still try to hold it but he then stares at the wall

Or hold eye contact through the whole thing(Do people do that)?

What else and what is the meaning?

last night i dreamed that i went away to this naval camp where i found out that i was going to have to be there for a month i was upset because i didn't want to be there in the first place. i walked into the other room and there was alot of tables and people kind of like a cafeteria or something like that i looked over at one table and my grandmother and her boyfriend, 2 of my aunts were sitting there i was really excited to see them because for 1 i didn't know they were there and then also they live in alabama and i live in california so its not like i get to see them all the time and then i looked to the end of the table and saw my uncle john i was thrilled to see him! the weird thing is though he passed away when i was in 7th grade and i'm now a junior in high school i haven't thought about him for awhile and he just showed up in my dream. i was just wondering if anybody knows why all of a sudden he was in my dream. since i haven't thought or talked about him in awhile. input?

you are walking down the street. and walking in front of you someone drops something. how far would that person have to be away from you for you to decide not to alert them that they dropped something?

there are other variables of course. men will have MUCH higher distances if it is a beautiful woman who drops something than if it were another man who had dropped something.

This obstacles is a hard-core never forgive a person again because they did something so hurtful they cannot forgive. I am amazed and shocked by the reaction.
He says he is an Indian man and they go back 2 generations and they are like that. Step out of line and you never get back in.
Betrayed by who??? i did not betray him. I did not realize he was so angry a person. He says he will never come to visit me and we are not dating any longer as I was not behaving properly towards him.
Everyone does not do as he likes and if they don't he takes lawsuits out against them to prove he is right and gets his satisfaction by winning money.
I find this attitude is an obstacle in the way of trying to get close to someone. If evertime you are blocked and hurt then how does the other person treat you???
My former boyfriend is wealthy and prides himself on the fact that he is wealthy. material things give him power and success and that is what he wants. But he is an angry person and limited.

If you annoy them or do something to them that's so small they never forgive you and hate you for life.

Well for me and other people like my family and friends it's easy to forgive.

But why hate a person for misunderstanding you and you apologize to them>?

Why hate a person when you've annoyed them or freaked them out unintentionally and you apologize.

But they still go on hating you even though you stay out of their way and you never speak to them because you know they hate you and still mad at you for something you've already apologized for. Even though it was really small. You didn't steal, you didn't lie, you didn't kill you didn't do any of that morally wrong stuff.

So why is it so hard for others to forgive the little things people do?
