how can I create a "me" place?

Question

I unusually get bored with things to easily except in this on place but I need a new place so I can get interested in stuff long enough to do them. the reason I need a new place is that the place I have know is the bath tub in our house. I would stop hogging it but anywhere else I always distracted and get bore real easy. like I can't concentrate and I'm constantly bored anywhere else.

help!!!

Boredom is a sign of a lack of mental stimulation. Nothing excites you or grabs your attention so you feel a sense of 'boredom' (been there, done that.)

Most people go through stages of where they define 'my space' because someone can always come along and disrupt it. Some people have large physical spaces (rooms, specific places like a mall or a friend's house or a restaurant) or small physical spaces (a favorite set of books or movies, a journal where they write down all their thoughts, a collection of things which they identify with like comic books, seashells, postcards, model cars, etc etc etc) but most people have a combination of both.

Try getting a box marked 'My Space' and start collecting stuff to put in there. You can even get a plastic one with a lid and maybe a lock, to prevent brothers and sisters from getting into it, but if you have parents who are also part of the problem (ignoring you, refusing you any sort of privacy or individuality), its going to be alot harder to keep a space because they will feel like they have the right to invade it (the ole 'its my house and you will do what I say' excuse). In that case, create an open space so that others can see it openly (like a collection of books) and thus have less reason to invade it (you can still write on the pages or underline special passages which they wont so easily know about).

Being a kid sucks, which is why most of us grow up and get the hell away from our parents so we can finally have a space of our own. Good luck.

if you get bored easily try different things. your not gona find an awesome fun place just in ur house that u magically wont get bored in. im not sure why you get bored so easily but jsut try lots of things. go out for a walk, research your town or city and look for art centers or mueseums, hiking/biking spots. get out and explore anywhere really. it could be good exercise and it will all entertain ur mind. u just have to get out there. hope i helped
