I have a question about a time and or numbers I always see on the clock, receipts, a house number.

I always seem to look at the clock whether it be am or pm. I always look when it is 9:11. and as for the receipts sometimes my bill will come to $9.11. and when I looked at a house once it said 911.. this has been going on for 2 months now it's a little strange... does this mean something?

I am not asking this because I want to pry into your lives. I just want to know why some people are happy when they have little and why some people are sad when they have so much.

I am 21 years old and for about 1 year now I have been feeling alone and unloved. I have a good family but no friends. I also do not have a boyfriend which is one of the reasons I feel so alone. How do I get rid of this feeling?

If you are then you can use the question to help get rid of it. Pretend like I am the person you are angry at and type. It's a great way to relieve stress, get something off your chest and of course earn 2 points.

How does anyone stay afloat when the whole U.S. economy fails? Say a major Stock Market crash and the money notes become worthless. When people are using the "barter" system. How does anyone continue to make money?

Shopping for groceries online, buying medication online, working from home....you get the point. So what's this leading to? Are people going to become introverted hermits who exit the realm of their house once a week?

Hi everyone.Well here is my story.I am an 18 year old guy who is having a serious problem that is affecting my whole life..It is shyness..My whole life is being ruined because of my shyness..I have always been shy even in high school (as I am now in college) and i really dont know what to do about it..I have almost no social life which is just making me crazy..I have always been criticized of acting this way and it really hurts because i dont know how to change..Recently, I have tried to go out and i did go out with some of my few friends to meet some other guys and girls and as I expected they just stayed away from me because I was so quiet and they thought I was boring.I am a really nice guy but i find it hard to make people understand who I am.This is one side of the problem..The other side is that it I always feel lonely because I have never had someone to express my feelings to so I just always keep it to myself. Please tell me what to do and is there any hope for me to feel better

I am thinking about committing Suicide. I have mental illness, and severe clinical depression. Its not that I hate life, Its just that it seems not worth living in the slightest bit. I feel like im in so much pain that i just want it to end. I cant bear the thought of having to go on like this for the rest of my life. People have told me this is very selfish, and maybe it is, but its just too painful. I just dont know what to do. Maybe i should try to work through this hard time. The thing that stops me is my family. They could all be very negatively affected by my Suicide. Why does life have to be so hard, and so painful. Does God know what I am going through. I have asked God for help, but i just fear that I won't last much longer. Please Respond.

I've seen a lot of movies about time travel, so I know a lot about it. I have seen Somewhere In Time many many times in my search for the answer to traveling through time. After doing the extensive research on the subject, I determined that I would do it. I decorated my grandma's basement to look like 1914 and began to concentrate very, very hard. I repeated facts I knew about 1914 over and over and had period music playing on an old phonograph (the kind you'd find in 1914). Then for split second, I swear I was in 1914! I would have stayed there, but my grandma started to yell at me to turn off the music! I really think I went back in time though! Do you think it was possible? I need as much input as possible! Thanks

I'm writing a paper for my child psych class on a controversial child psychology issue. My issue is prescribing serious medication to children, such as Prozac. Please give me your point of view on the subject, and also if you know any good sites for more information. Thank you.

(By the way, I'm against the majority of meds prescribed)
