well, and i am several years older and can say, u don't get rid of it, u just get used to it. unfortunately the nature of contemporary society is very lonely. people are isolated. the problem is if you feel lonely it's like a bad smell, people can tell, so you can't act like you really need someone, or the guys will run the other way. if you need a bf you won't get one, but if you can get used to feeling lonely and come to terms with it, then people will feel / act differently. you don't want to be clingy which can be difficult when you feel lonely.

Me too.....I'm 17 I dont have bf. My best friends either have bfs or are on the process of going on a relationship.. I'm so lonely sometimes I felt like dying.. Seeing at how my close friend forgets bout me when that guy she likes is present.

Find service opportunities. Engage yourself in something productive. Having companionship helps, but you'll never find that either until you find ways to get out. Also, find God. Once you realize He's there, you'll never feel totally alone.
