I've found here in the Women's Studies section, numerous malignant replies from men have surfaced. I've read replies, on questions that specifically ask only for another female's advice, from men, that I find to be sexist in nature. Degrading the female body and mind in a "nicely put" manner has gone unnoticed, and apparently does not call to be flagged.
I am a feminist, and I am a lesbian, but I have nothing against men. Their input is often helpful in this category. But we are sensitive beings, and at times, some opinions may be a little too harsh for us.
Do any women agree?

Why do poor families usually have more children than the richer ones? Normally the rich ones would be able to afford to sustain a large family but its generally the poor families that have large families instead. That's not always the case but generally, it is.
Why do you think it's like that?

Is it that most people dont care and just want to be the one with the most points and/or have the highest rating? I am currently deployed to Iraq and a friend and I are browsing questions to help pass the down with our down time. I have mainly looked at the military category and noticed that at least 95% of the people that answer do't have a clue as to what they are saying. Why give someone advice just so you can have your name in lights? If you have something intelligent to say then go for it but just don't speak to speak. I understand that we all have freedom of speach but if you're not going to say something useful on a help site then keep your mouth shut.

I have this hat that I've recently become attached to. It's kinda big and I like to pull it down over my forehead and partly over my eyes. I thought it looked good on me, but people have started telling me that I look like a boy with it on- espically with my hair pulled up. When I was younger my mom told me that I had very femnin features and could never pass as a boy. (I had just seen the Daughter of Robinhood) Now I don't know if that's true. Whenever I look in the mirror (without the hat), I feel like I'm looking at a boy! Is it a puberty thing, and I'll look more femmnin when I get older (I've only got about another year and a half of pubety left) or is it the hat? No one's ever told me I looked like a boy before! Thx, I know it's a long question and I appricate anyone who reads it and answers.

I have always had a fear of being buried alive!
Some people years ago had special coffins made so they could ring a bell,if they woke up in the coffin.
I wonder if being buried alive still happens and how often.
Can u buy coffins with an emergency alarm in them? Soooooooooo glad for cremation! Do you have a fear?
"not a phobia"

Too often there is little in the way of ‘productive debate’ on this forum: is this because many Americans have no critical thinking skills (educational factors), or because Americans are more inclined than other cultures to accept smear campaigns as legitimate forms of ‘debate’ (as exemplified in 30 second political attack ads aired on TV)? Poor education or warped cultural values?

A new low: IMAGINARY "DEBATES"

As an adult, do you still engage the criticisms and judgments of your parents and/or super ego the same way today? What do you do (if anything) to get unstuck from these childhood patterns?

Projects to create high-tech weaponry. Then we would have up to date weapons systems, and could get past the MAD, (Mutually
Assured Destruction), Nuclear Policy of the past. And we might make some money too.

this may seem like a very weird/random question, but to me, it makes sense. my exboyfriend of 2 years (we just broke up a little over a month ago) was deeply depressed for over a year of our relationship. he began taking antidpressants and impulsively broke up with me, asked me back out a few days later, then broke up with me a few days after that. it didnt make sense to me, but because of how horribly he always treated me, i dont want him back. then just days after the break up he went around telling people he was going to have sex with multiple girls over the weekend(which is very unlike him, since he told me he was a virgin, yet i found out he lied about that too haha) but in the past 5 weeks hes been with 5 girls, jumping from one to the next than back to the other. his guy friends all think he's soo weird and told me that they suspect hes into coke. i think he's bipolar and that his medicine made him manic..reguardless, he's messed up, what do u think it could be?

I am absolutly assertive, I have no fear in speaking my mind. Often my feelings manifest angrily, or I guess harshly and it causes problems within my family. All arguements are blamed on me because I am the loudest and make my opinion known. Now, I am severly depressed about this and I just want to be heard and understood. At the same time, I need a career path. I am good at so many things and do not know what I would like to do. But when I think of all the things that stand out about me, I think of what everbody thinks about me...so my question is..does anybody have any suggestions for an assertive, aggressive, take no bull personality like mine. Can i turn what everbody thinks is a serious fault into a good future?

They have no sense of community and people don't forge friendships face to face.. In fact nobody talks face to face - they all talk on phone. America have no common regular people because everybody think they are superior to each other.. They all commute in glass bubble on wheels, so nobody ever get to rub shoulders and interact with each other. if you see pretty woman in car - that is all you can do, see and look. Can't talk becasue she in glass bubble and speed away fast. They have some city in America with no sidewalk.. Cannnot walk, must have car - then become fat and overweight... America ugly place and so isn't the people.. Oh, and the drugs - drugs all over!
