I have always had a fear of being buried alive!
Some people years ago had special coffins made so they could ring a bell,if they woke up in the coffin.
I wonder if being buried alive still happens and how often.
Can u buy coffins with an emergency alarm in them? Soooooooooo glad for cremation! Do you have a fear?
"not a phobia"

I do fly, however one of my fears is crashing - this fear has escalated after watching final destination!
I also fear public speaking - which i know shouldn't really be a big deal, however i just hate it!
And finally yes, i would just hate being buried alive - there was a programme on the television a few years ago which said that people can still be buried alive by mistake because they might have a heart defect. They also showed this woman who i think woke up twice in the mortuary!

Don't know why...yet my ' fear ' is of electricity and knives.

I can obviously be around electricity...just am overly concerned when someone is fixing wiring. The knives thing...can use knives fine...I'm just uncomfortable when the sharper or larger ones are left just lying out. When I see knives laying about in the kitchen I put them in drawers.

Weird...no rhyme or reason for those ' fears '...but they are there just the same.

My biggest fear, which will literally have me diving under the desk in shrieking horror, is air raid sirens. I can't stand to hear them, even if they are the routine monthly tests (like they have in this area).

I can't stand listening to them. They scare me so much that I often start crying and diving under a desk. Heaven forbid if the Tsunami Warning actually goes off in my town... O_o

I am afraid of going under water in a car and not being able to get out. I was in a car driving by water very close to the road and I had to lay down in the seat because I could not take looking at it. Really creeps me out.

my big fear is house fires - waking up in the middle of the night to my house engulfed in flames, or coming back from a vacation to find my house has burned down. i used to cry when my family practiced fire safety/drills when i was younger. i think it started when i saw a house burning when i was little - it was a house that was just being built and it was still all wood, so it was just a mass of flames.
