They could be insecure, or they could just be the type of person who thinks that the rest of the world cares how much everything they own cost. To some people money is everything, and they believe everything has a price.

I would think so. If one felt secure, he or she wouldn't feel that they needed to brag about anything. They would be comfortable in the fact that people liked them for themselves--not what they have or can do.

Not always. It is annoying, but that may just be the way the person expresses themselves. They are proud of what they have and they are not sensitive to the fact that others may not have as much.

Secure people know what they have and don't feel the need to explain or tell it to others.
