the great Apostle Paul said "forgetting what lies behind, I press on to the goal and the prize." We do not live with facts of our lives, we live with the STORY we TELL ourselves about the facts of our lives. Start telling yourself a different story about what has happened to you in the past. This is not self-hypnosis, but may be like meditation. Begin putting a positive spin on what has happened to you. You will believe what you tell yourself. Thoughts are powerful things.

Realize that you can't change the past no matter how much you think about it. Don't let something that happened years before define who you are today. You have the power to change - no one else has the power to do it for you. Write it all down - the whole thing thats affecting you and then burn it? Just some ideas.
