What really scared you as a kid and are you still scared of it? I am terrified of aliens (like in the movie Signs) and always have been - I can't even take the trash out at night because I'm scared I might see an alien near my house... if it's raining they don't come though...

hi. ive also asked this question in relationships and dating where im sure it belongs.. but i think i might get some good answers here as well. i thank you in advance.

i currently live with my boyfriend and i am having a hardtime dealing with his subscriptions to suicidegirls and fatalbeauty.com. i understand that a lot of guys are into porn and what not.. but to me its different when you are paying for the website to compliment these women and interact with them.. its not like you interact with jenna jameson when you download pictures or watch her "films." he says that i am insecure and jealous and that i am in need of professional help to deal with my issues. i feel like im being emotionally cheated on.. he says i should trust him but i dont feel like i can, especially when i see what he is saying to these women. (mind you, i can barely get the time of day but thats another topic...) please help. thank you.

good analogy- when your falling asleep, its like walking down a staircase, with each step makes you sleepier. there is a "pit" at the bottom, which is where you go when you fall asleep. usually, when you are near the pit, but still on the staircase, you fall off, and fall in the pit(falling asleep). this is wat most people expeierce most of the time, but for me, this one night, i kept on "walking" down the stairs, and i dindt fall asleep. all of the sudden, my body went completely numb, (tingling), and i couldnt move. i tried screaming, but i couldnt. i was stairing at my celeing(i wasnt dreaming). what kind of condition/whatever is this? thanks,

How odd...there must be. I have always assumed that women in general viewed themselves as inferior. Please explain how a woman might arrive at a position of feeling superior to men. Which criteria are focused upon in order to conclude superiority? What makes a woman better than a man?

Because as i grew up all the women that were attractive were real snobs. I'm sure it has to do alot with where i grew up as it being a superficial, materialistic area. Since they were snobs i always thought, well good thing. Figuring it will make me find a women that has real substance and i myself won't place such a high importance on looks and learn to find inner beauty. Thing is now I’m in my mid 20's and have moved to another city. I’m around some women who are attractive but they are also intelligent, which is at odds with my past understanding of beautiful women…. I used to have limited choices in women which made me feel like i had a limited selection so things were simpler on me. Now I feel like there's to many choices, i feel overwhelmed by all the potential women i could date. How can I make myself not feel so overwhelmed by beauty, and now stick to what i always thought was important, inner beauty?

How much lack of social interaction can a human bare? Imagine you don't touch. Maybe you're blind. You can't hear, speak, taste ...whatever you can think of, but you are aware of your exsistence.

I'm not saying I believe this or not, nor do I really know what to think about it. I really was looking for some input though. Apparently, a friend of mine had a discussion in a psychology or philosophy class one day about Jesus. Apparently, either one of the students or the teacher brought up a possibility of Jesus being a schizophrenic and/or having multiple personality disorder.

Comments? Arguments? Do you agree or disagree. At the very least I'd say that is a very interesting theory.

Why aren't we equal?

part1 - the subjects faces were made to be disfigured and then sent out to collect information from the public. on returning they reported that the public shunned them and where very nervous in their presence.

part 2 - the subjects were made up to be beautiful and again sent out to collect info from the public. on returning they reported that the public was helpful and gained many reports.

the subjects were then shown pictures of themselves as part 1 and 2. in both cases they looked the same - demonstrating that it is how you perceive yourself that is important

I am 39 y.o and now live abroad - married and have 2 kids, one a teenager and other one is 2nd grader both boys, now this is a bit sensitive as I am an Indian, I have had an arranged marriage, I have been a person who always was inferior and never thought of myself as an individual, always been scared of people and do things to please others. Never experienced love in other words no one touched my heart, After 10 years of living abroad 3 years ago - someone touched my heart and I just changed from a negative to a positive person - just like that. I thought I was in love for the first time in my life, got worried and took 2 years to come out of that and accept that god sent me a gift through a friend. I recently came to india and on return felt lonely again and I wanted to make friends so I got into the chat and made friends but also let someone touch my heart again and am having hardship how can I come out of this mind set of wanting love and not accepting my husbands love now,

This is probably a stupid question but I really am wondering why it's like that? How come Canada and the USA are countries with a high quality of life, but Mexico doesn't. If Canada and the USA have made their countries to what they are now, how come Mexico didn't or hasn't? Is it because they are closer to the equator and it's too warm for people? Because I notice there are lot's of 3rd world countries near the equator. Is it just because Canada and the USA don't get along with the Mexican government? Because I have noticed that Canada and the USA sometimes disagree but they still are always allies, but Mexico is like the loner from the scene?

I'm 15 so I don't know much about this stuff, so sorry if it's a weird question lol!

I want you to please write me something really weird. It a study I'm doing on my own to see what people will write if I ask them to write a bizzare sentence or so. If you will please do this, I can see what many people are thinking, and get some insight into your own definition of weird.

Like when I'm new on a job, someone will take me under their wing almost every time and then eventually they'll talk bad about the boss and company and other people, while seeming to be the good guy around there and for a while I will believe this to be true and then time shows the truth in most situations but by that time I have formed opinions of people and put up my walls and then I usually end up not liking or trusting anybody in the whole office except maybe a few that I probably don't work close with. Most people for whatever reason will be short-tempered with me or antagonizing, try to make me look bad to others...the list goes on and I tend to take things too personally because I can't understand why people want to be nasty when I am nice to them. Some people are just insecure and unhappy with themselves and I know this is part of the reason. I am a co-dependent personality so I worry about these people and why they are that way until the point of great tension and

I have a problem with procrastinating, especially when it comes to school. I have always been a procrastinator, I probably starting noticing it more by my junior year of high school. Currently, I am in college and I still suffer from procrastination. I still get good grades, I have a 3.85 GPA in college currently but procrastinating causes me stress. When I attempt to begin on working on something the day it's assigned I cannot focus on the task at hand. I can't focus on the work until about a day before it's due, I still do good on the assignment but I get so stressed out and it causes me to have sleepless nights which transfers the stress to my work and even my relationship. Can someone help me become a nonprocrastinator? Any tips and advice will be very much appriciated!

In my weird dream:
I went to a friend's house (im married) and went into his bedroom and we were talking. I moved closer as if to kiss him and he didnt move closer. He had a baby (he doesnt in real life) I held it and it peed on my shirt. I took off my shirt and his sister came in and got the wrong impression of us and what was going on. Then I woke up.

I am very faithful to my husband and would never kiss a guy in real life. This person in real life is just a friend. What does a crazy dream like this mean??
