Human memory is demonstrably bad, while human imagination is demonstrably fecund. It's EASY to imagine that something fantastic is just around the corner and it's also EASY to forget that misery was all that awaited you around almost all the corners you've been around so far.
On the other hand, it's hard to maintain illusions about what you are doing right now. This is why most people are disappointed by their present - they see it all too clearly compared to the future and the past. This leads people sometimes to do even things that they KNOW are foolish.
I'm reminded of Nietzsche's interpretation of the story of Pandora's Box. Short version of the story: a box which holds all the evils of the world is opened and they all get out, but it's closed again just before hope escapes. What Nietzsche asked was 'what was hope doing in a box with every evil in the world anyway... is it because HOPE is evil?'.
Whether this is a correct interpretation of the story or not, it's a very interesting philosophical point. Without hope, would people do all the stupid things they sometimes do? I suspect that many of them would cease. It is sometimes hope which is our tormentor, causing us to endure what we would otherwise throw off in hope of it stopping, and leading up to do what we would otherwise avoid in hope of it leading to better things.
Make of that what you will.

We long for the unobtainable due to being human. We as humans were first here as perfect. We gave up that right with freedom of choice. Since we are now imperfect then we are full of sin. Those sins can include greed, envy, vanity, gluttony and so forth. Forbidden fruit is also a greed. It is not really as sweet as you think. There is a price somewhere along the way that will have a bitter taste. Satan masks the forbidden with a sweet flavor hiding the consequences. Jesus bore our sins upon his shoulders and died for us. Are we going to repay this selfless act by continuing to long for the forbidden?
Think about it! Good Luck!! :)

When you feel like something is too good for you or that you don't even have the option to experience something or someone it can make you long for it \ them. However if you raise your confidence level up to a point where you believe you can have it ,you become ( in some cases ) a little less desperate to have it.Just my opinion.

in case you grew some fruit, it would want to be fairly scrumptious. on the different hand, fruit from yet another man or woman's backyard might want to be so very pleasant. it truly is, many of the time, a psychological recommendations set.

Because if we can't do something, the more we want to do it. I've been in that situation many times and it was always sweet.
